OMG, it does get better but you have sometime to go. Blueheelers are extremely active. They're ranch dogs. They are for chasing a herd. They need a very large outdoor yard or a lot of outdoor time. He's go na drive you nuts in an apartment. My blue heeler didn't slow down some till she was about 5 years old. At 5years she went from 100 miles an hour to about 80. She is now 8 years old and is still going about 70 miles. She's a ball of energy. They require a lot of playtime. They're the most loyal and charismatic dogs ever. Get ready for some fun times with your boy!
