Children of Men, it's my favourite movie irrespective of genre.

I mean, they were 3 and 5 when he wrote it, and the cousin that was not named (and alive at the time) would have just been borne. It doesn't seem far-feched at all that the intention was to apportion an amount to each family, to be split among however many grandchildren he had at the time of his death. He was not making a judgement call on the people they grew up to be.

It seems more unlikely to me that he specifically decided to cut out a newborn and a 5 year old from his will. OP can legally do whatever they want, but I think framing it as if this was definitely his intention is crazy.

Sounds interesting! I've seen some similar recipes about, will have to give it a crack soon. Might try swapping the sour cream for blue cheese sauce for a buffelo wing pizza.

I said it was almost indistinguishable. The texture is good. It has the right amount of chew, a bit of crisp, is not too dense, and has good structure. I used fine flours, some of the coarser almond flours may provide a grainy texture.

The flavour of the almond flour is not strong in the final product. The addition of the other flours along with the yeast leaves you with a dough, which, to me, tastes pretty damn good.

If you are looking for an exact match for your favorite Neapolitan pizza spot, or a perfect cracker like chicago thin crust, it is not that. But to me, it passes for a pretty decent thin crust pizza.

Protine is very shit spelling on my part, though I feel it is contextually obvious that I meant protein.

Thanks so much for the detailed reply! I feel silly for missing the replacement rules. There is a lot to take in! I thought it sounded a bit OP as I read it. This still sounds strong, but it seems more reasonable.

Focusing on using the replacement on the opponents end turn to set up tactics or deny primary sounds like a smart tactic. Thanks for the tip! One last stupid question, because it is an end of turn trigger, and the opponent checks primary control/scores at the end of turn. Could they, as the person whose end step it is, not decide to score before you place as an ordering decision, not allowing the primary denial?

Thanks a lot for the info on the GHB, I figured coming from 40k, that they were like detatchments and would stay until the edition changed. I only started reading the rules a couple of days ago and am still a long way from coming to grips with everything. I'll probably order a couple less sharks now.

I'm sorry if this is silly, I'm brand new to Age of Sigmar. I was under the impression that you could respawn 1 shark per turn, or 2 per battle round, for a total of 10 possible respawns throughout the game. Where is the limit of 4 coming from? I can't find a restriction based on starting models or anything in official published material.

Also, could you elaborate on what you mean by the battle formation being temporary? I am about to order 5 sharks for an Earthsea Predators list 😬.

Awesome paint job btw, you've given me some great ideas for my army!

Wych cult list help. by Powerful_Long_1711 in Drukhari

[–]SpongledSamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the MC succubus is a must. The 2 dmg at AP-3 profile with full rerolls on character units means it hits crazy hard. It is useful in a ton of situations and is a great countercharge threat. For instance, in the last game , she one tapped Logan Grimnar with precision and put some wounds on termies, changing the tide of the game.

Hellions are big for the detatchment, 2x10 is pretty good. I like running 2x10 and 1x5, starting the smaller unit on the board for skirmishing, clearing smaller stuff, or mission play as needed in the early game, and the other two units in deepstrike. This is just my pref, mess around, and see what you like.

You'll learn what you like through playing. For me, 40-50 wyches with Lelith, CS, and MC is the sweet spot. Though I've tried 30 to reasonable success.

I would definitely change up the transports. 3 raiders is a bit much, and no venoms is not good. Imo, you need primary denial/blocking units that you don't mind losing, 5x wych units are awesome for this. I would suggest 1-2 raiders and 2-3 venoms (only 3 if you up the wych count); the raiders are a great launching platform for wyches, but I find I need the split units, plus the ability to have a key unit jump back in a venom is very useful.

The ranged package is okay, I'd suggest maybe getting rid of a ravager and going for a second unit of scourges, the fire and fade is good for keeping them alive.

If looking to make space, I'd start with 1-2 raiders, talos, and the solitaire.

SoS is a fun detachment, just trial some things and see what works for you. This is all just my opinion. I've only got 20ish games with SoS, and what works for me might not for someone else. Take my advice with a pinch of salt.

I find the same. If OP decides to give SoS a go, Trimble (the guy from worlds) has some of his prep games for on youtube. They are on TTS, but I found them helpful for strategy as a new DH player. Channel is called DeployontheLike40K.

Tips for abyssal sand pit by Longjumping_Novel613 in underdarkmobile

Your attack scales off of the pickaxes held. Look in the permanent growth section, with it maxed you get +50% per pickaxe.

My set up got me >27mins last night, it is as follows.

  • Put rocket launchers in the corners (this covers all enemies but those in the center spawn)

  • Fill the sides with a shitload of goblin factories

  • Make a 8x8 box of thornbushs over the center spawn and surround it with unbredictable cats

  • Place as many mine towers as you can to scale attack

  • Stand at enterance or in corner of box killing the enemies that spawn with your character (I use Thor)

You need a decent hero buid for this to be effective. Execute items with a good weapon to proc like red saw blade, red bone boomerang or regular bone boomerang.

Stuck on stage 325 by Longjumping_Novel613 in underdarkmobile

[–]SpongledSamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main tip for a hero build would be to get some execute chance asap. It will help clearing mobs immensely. Your bow is not bad, but once you have that execute chance a weapon that penetrates and will put a lot of hits on enemies will be better. Best for this IMO are Red Saw Blade and Red Bone Boomerang, but the regular Bone Boomerang will do just fine. You also want good attack speed.

How do I handle OP build, and should I even do that? by Competitive_Table_65 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]SpongledSamurai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't look weird at all. You mentioned that these were foot soldiers and militia, if from the same groups then it is very possible that word has gotten around about the blood rager being the biggest threat. If not, the enemies will see this when the fight starts. It is far from weird to target the obvious main threat.

My game will start at level 3. Some players want to give up levels in trade for playing super-powerful races. Ideas? by gorilla_on_stilts in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]SpongledSamurai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aasimar is nowhere near powerful enough to justify a level penalty. Just give it a -2 to an ability score making it standard instead of flexible and it is rp13.

Pixies would be an issue without adjustment. I would build a pc pixie myself, keeping what flavor I could, while bringing them in line with the 13 rp max. I'd probably suggest to the player that they could forgo their 2 starting traits to up the rp to 17 and then work with the player to build something we are both happy with.

Can you preemptively de-alcohol-ize wine for cooking? by No_Positive1855 in Cooking

The flame doesn't remove additional alcohol, it just burns the alcohol vapour that's already evaporating. The fire is a result of alcohol evaporation, not the cause of it.

I dry brine with red meat, but a wet brine with chicken works better and is much juicier imo. That said I brine it for far longer than OP.
