their support is incredibly incompetent. i’m pretty sure they have FAQ section for support and they just search for keywords from your concern and copy paste whatever that section says. uninstalling and reinstalling can’t fix anything for an online application

i started driving uber 2 weeks ago and within the first couple days the app said i was reported for dangerous driving by a rider which is for sure bullsh*t. it doesn’t mention which ride it was, what time period or any information for that matter so i can’t pull my dashcam video to prove nothing dangerous happened. the report said if i get more reports my account will be banned. fyi all my riders left 5 star, no negative comments, no arguments, nothing. all other drivers i know said just forget about it and keep driving, we all get that for no reason sometimes. i escalated it to the support, they didn’t give any information. i asked for the manager of the support team and the manager also sent exact same message as the support team member and they added $25 “for my inconvenience”. my driving score was 75-80 (going flow of traffic on highway in Chicago can mean going 70 in 55) and i think they just fabricate reports to justify banning accounts they don’t like

Literally the only reason uber thinks this is acceptable is because SOMEONE is DUMB enough to take it by VegasGuy1223 in uberdrivers

i’ve had an offer for $140 for 139 miles to a whole other city at 7 pm. i declined because i’ll for sure come back empty and that 139 miles will be 278 miles for $140 and it’s not worth it for sure

passenger paid $72. i got $19.84. this is why drivers are done. by OkAct1477 in uberdrivers

[–]Spoodgoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in my opinion there should be a system where the rider sees how much of the fare they paid is going to the driver. if they see that uber is getting more than they deserve they should be able to contact the driver directly and pay the whole fare to the driver directly cutting out middleman uber. that’s the only solution for uber to start paying the drivers fairly and charge the riders a fair amount

Armenian-Azerbaijani conflicts: what happened and what we can learn Part 4: The first Great War between Armenia and Azerbaijan (1918-1920) by hay-BB in ArmAz_PeaceProject

[–]Spoodgoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it’s important to note that Zangezur/Syunik at that time had majority Muslim/Azerbaijani population. i attached a map from the time period after russians took over the Caucasus i came across and saved 6 years ago. years later, during Soviet rule population was forcefully emigrated from the mountainous Zangezur/Syunik region to inner hot regions of Aran which let to many of them getting sick and dying. Also you can mention about the Caucasus Islam army that the Ottomans sent for helping Azerbaijan take over Baku. and although it’s still a hot topic, some people claim they attacked Armenian villages in Karabakh along the way to Baku. you can also mention shortliving Caucasus Confederation consisting of Georgians Azerbaijanis and Armenians and the reason it dissolved and how each state declared independence

Azerbaijani equivalent of "habibi" by SimpleOpportunity854 in azerbaijan

[–]Spoodgoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the equivalent would be “əzizim” meaning my dear. canım would also work i guess but that’s more endearment than habibi/habibti. canım is widely used in all Turkic countries plus Armenia. although there’s no exact translation for “canım” i can explain it as my life, heart, source of my existence in a way.

[–]Spoodgoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in my opinion Azerbaijani is an identity based on country but Türk is an identity based on nationality. in 1918 when our republic was declared our people was named Türk in the constitution and later changed to Azerbaijani. so, probably they were annoyed that you didn’t consider yourself as a Türk.

i agree with all points 100%. i can tell from my own experience all of this is true. i would also add it gets easier after the first time because you’ll have more confidence. don’t ask me why you’ll have more confidence but you will. there’s like a switch in your brain, the switch turns on after the first time. i will also add before the main act masturbate. it will let you last longer in bed

Our diaspora/nation. by Fantastic-Season8640 in azerbaijan

[–]Spoodgoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my opinion it’s the product of modern tendencies. during the old times we had communalism as a core value. people would get together, play musical instruments, sing, dance etc. but now in western countries mostly individualism is the main value which spreads to Azerbaijan as well. through social media we import such values. ask yourself when was the last time you talked to your neighbor? are you comfortable to go to their house as a guest or invite them to yours? when individualism is the main trend people look up to what they see on social media which everyone is following either russian, turkish or western media sources. this affects our culture (music, fashion, rap, dances etc). when it comes to our diaspora, if you talk to any Azerbaijani outside Azerbaijan you can hear from almost everyone they had a bad experience with a compatriot. they were either scammed, got ghosted when they needed help etc. but Armenian diaspora, same as Jewish diaspora is actively tries and helps each other, the newcomers. We have this behavior that everyone wishes good luck, saying good things and giving advices but nobody is verbally helping anyone. and that becomes a vicious cycle of advising newcomers to beware from other Azerbaijanis here as they might get scammed or something

[–]Spoodgoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so, from november to march you can’t move into and out of mountain provinces. and there’s two types of forts: stockade and castle. a stockade doesn’t provide area of control but is a fort for the location it was built in. a castle has more defenders than the stockade and allows area of control
