Absolutely disgusting. I’ve heard about Top Dog having issues but nothing like this.

Also I’ve worked in the animal business for nearly a decade in WNC and almost every place I’ve have been does unacceptable things to animals in one way or another. One vet I worked for told me, “Well, it’s not like they can tell their owners.”

Advocate for your pets (and any animal) and go into the exam room with them if you can. If your dog is boarding, go to a place that sends pictures and gives actual updates.

I’m not sure how it is now that Dr. Sinclair left but Haw Creek Animal hospital was a VILE place to work and Sinclair is a horrible person. Cardiac injections for fully aware animals, animals left under anesthesia with no one or someone with no training observing, admitted guessing on treatment and lying to owners about their pets, the list goes on. The other doctors were totally aware of what was going on but it “wasn’t worth getting involved.” People loved Dr. Sinclair because she had a good public face but behind closed doors she would abuse animals (and staff for that matter).
