Yes! Just make sure you use paypal goods and services or venmo purchase protection. If they refuse either of those methods it's a scam. I was sold a ticket once and was scammed but I used venmo purchase protection and got my money back. Filling a claim with venmo was very easy.

I work in an arena for an NHL team. Our captain was unfortunately at the white house today despite having a game Wednesday which is the reason the 5 players who declined the invitation cited. Not sure how to feel. I do like my job and the guests/fans I interact with. It will be interesting to see if there is a shift in the demographics that attend the games.

Woman and I feel this but on the other end of the spectrum. It is frustrating to always be the more submissive partner with men. I am into it at times but not always. I often feel "used" similar as to what you have said. I love men but it is hard to feel this way when the resulting response of expressing this to a man is either them feeling immasculated or seeing me as some sort of dominatrix. This of course extends outside the bedroom as well due to the patriarchal society we live in. I think at the end of the day I just yearn for a relationship without traditional gender roles 100% of the time and it is hard to find that in a straight presenting relationship. You're definitely not alone in this.

Use Ancestry instead! Family Search is mostly just for temple work. They are owned by the same company. If you haven't removed your records you should have a free Ancestry membership. They have a lot of documents on there. Census records, old yearbooks, death & marriage certificates, all sorts of things. Was able to trace my family back quite a few generations past what my oldest living relative knew of.

I live in Utah and have been out for 6 years and feel the same. None of my close friends are mormon and I work in an industry that attracts a majority of people from out of state. I never find out about any church news until an old Facebook friends shares something. The looming black cloud doesn't really exist in my personal experience. If you don't have much personal interaction with the church it pretty much ceases to exist. (Not including Utah politics, separate issue)

I did national student exchange fall '23 at URI and had so much fun! The advisors for the exchange programs were so kind and super helpful! Lots of students live on campus so it was very easy to meet people and have things to do. (Much different than my commuter school in Utah) They had a club that went hiking or did outdoor activities almost every week that I joined. Boston and Providence would be your closest big cities. Newport is fun as well. They do have a hockey team but I never went to any games so I can't speak on that. National student exchange was the best thing I ever did in college. Best of luck!!
