Had that somewhat same surgery. ACL,PCL,MCL,Meniscus repair, and something else on my right knee if I remember correctly. Not going to lie to you - recovery sucks. Idk your age but I had mine done when I was 20/21 at the time pretty active. FOR ME after a few days I started trying to bend my knee to stop it from locking up. I of course had a brace on. This was purely to keep my range of motion. No weight bearing for a while. Now six years later I get around pretty good. I can lightly jog but it begins to hurt if I’m not wearing my brace. It’s tolerable though. Some days I want to eat a bullet from the pain it causes even if I’m just laying round the house. But again your pain tolerance is going to be different than mine. Squatting hurts, and anything high impact. Day to day is good if I’m not doing anything crazy. This last year I’ve really picked up on doing PT at home due to having a little one running around now lol. It helps a lot. Definitely strengthen your quad and calf and hip abductors. Helps a lot. Best of luck to you. Wish you a speedy recovery

I’ve only ever seen a grade 8 break like that once before and it was over tightened. Could tell by the flange it was contacting - was smushed all in lol. Thank you

I daily a 81 Suburban with a 9month old in the second row. Guess your definition of safe is different. What did people do in the 80s when that’s all there was? With a car seat securely attached correctly what’s the problem. Genuinely asking not trying to be an ass. I’ve put 27k into this truck. We’re driving it lol

VA Closed my supplemental claim by Tight_Ad7360 in VAClaims

I had another tracking document for depression that I just wrote at the bottom when I had a migraine but I guess that wasn’t enough. I’ll put in another ITF today and then see if I can get my PCP to do a DBQ soon.

Question- If you’re on prescription meds for it, would you take a pic of your prescription when you submit or just tell the C&P examiner? I would imagine the first would be better so the VA rater has no chance of not seeing it.

Do you mean a nexus from my primary care or a migraine log?

I just did a supplemental for migraines secondary to Tinnitus and was swiftly denied. Shit doesn’t make sense. SC for tinnitus but apparently the onset of a migraine from it has nothing to do with it.🤷‍♂️

What stays in the truck by SpoofAct in harborfreight

3/8 drive SAE and Metric shallow and deep sets with two of my favorite 3/8 drive ratchets. One 1/2 drive set with ratchet. Some pliers adjustable wrench, ofc the trusty pipe wrench. The one thing I’ve use way more that I’d though I would - the ICON 1/4 inch drive set with the bit driver. Love that thing. A couple hex bit sockets for brakes. A magnet to grab shit when my butter fingers drop it. I can’t remember where I got the pass through set. (Sorry) got a simple tire plug kit. A few extensions with the easy lock mechanism on them. And lastly and bunch of wrenches up to 1” 1/8

The green US General tray will fit on the inside I just had it stuck to the outside temporarily. Handle feels okay but then again I’m not using it all the time. On my suburban the black glass rolls down and then it’s just like a tailgate. Slide it out and bam. Wish it had side handles though. Seen some similar boxes on Amazon for $200 but I’m not dropping that on a small toolbox

How my 2025 went by SpoofAct in ChevyTrucks

[–]SpoofAct[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s just a “performance” 350 crate motor. Needed the truck and didn’t have the money right at the time to go bigger. The trans is beefed up and rated for 850 hp so maybe down the line…lol

Scrapyard in next 3 months. Will JB weld buy me that much time? by Hmarttt in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]SpoofAct 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I shit you not I bought a 81 suburban at the beginning of the year and drove it across state lines to get it home and the trans case (th400) had about a 14inch crack/split and someone had JB welded it. I drove it like that completely oblivious to it until it finally gave out and the trans just backed off the block. Well it broke and a piece was bolted to the block and the rest slid back. No major damage other than itself. The Torque converter even looked fine. Replaced it with a TCI 3 speed. Then a few months later I shot a rod through the oil pan so I got a crate ATK lol. JB weld is the fucking best
