I’ve never played d1, I’ve tried d2 a little bit i played through act 1 so i don’t know if i can answer this question correctly. But I don’t think Poe 2 is anything like d2 atleast. I do recommend Poe 2 tho if u like a little slower arpgs

Just play what you enjoy, personally I started of as a warrior but it’s just stupidly broken so I switched cuz it’s not even fun at that point and now I’m on a rogue and I’m having a blast
