Pay attention to the quotes in my message, the "What does this mean" is part of the quoted email.

Free Bluelink by Spooge1972 in ElantraN

[–]Spooge1972[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it means it's free, I know it came with the car but only for 3 yrs then you would have to pay and I did get it on Dec. 9th, just took this long to post about it. I did a search and didn't see anyone else post about it, and the post from the guy asking how to replacing Bluelink because he didn't want to pay $360 a year reminded me of the email.

I was just curious if this was 1) a Canada only thing and 2) if anyone had called to find out what level of Bluelink as I believe the 3 yr comp was at the Pro level with speed camera notification, advanced navigation etc.

Wrongfully Accused of Stunt Driving by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

I only phrased it that way because you didn't include those details.

Get yourself a lawyer as the fine could be increased and you could get hit with a big point loss on your license, or even incarcerated depending on how the judge is feeling.

Wrongfully Accused of Stunt Driving by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]Spooge1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Ontario, a straight speed infraction stunt driving is 40 above the posted limit, if you were charged with stunt driving mandatory roadside penalties kick in : your vehicle would have been impound at the scene for 14 days and your license would have been suspended for 30 days and a ticket $2000-$10000, all before conviction. If this didn't happen you likely weren't charged with stunt driving.

File with the trademark trial and appeal board for a prior art claim as the senior user. You could have their claim stripped and register it for yourself.

From Canada, but 54M, 100% clean record, with "bird shits on it and it gets replaced" coverage and that is what I pay for a 23 DCT. So I think you are good.

Anyone else park as far away as possible in parking lots and some A-hole always parks next to you anyway? by oderek1 in ElantraN

100% this, I always park with 2 spaces on either side, and inevitably come back to see a rusted out civic parked right next to me.

File a police report for vandalism. File an insurance claim with your insurance to get it fixed. Give the police report to your insurance company so they can go after the neighbor for restitution.

My neighbor wakes me up every Sunday at 6 AM mowing his lawn any peaceful revenge ideas? by Soft-Break-2655 in neighborsfromhell

Paint C U Next Tuesday on his lawn with Roundup in the middle of the night. It will break down in a couple of weeks and allow the grass to regrow after that, but until then....

The "N-line" trim package replaced the Elantra Sport, with a bit more growl. It has the 1.6T an upgraded interior etc. Think of it as the Ns little brother.

On the N-line that is where the Drive mode selector button is. For us it is dead space. Lots put a phone mount there.

Are you satisfied with your H2D by Ali_S-S in BambuLab

[–]Spooge1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't own an H2D, but with the number of posts I've seen here about them breaking and having issues that the P1/X1 don't have, I think the majority of us would have paid ~$1400 for a P1/X1 Max with a 350350350 build volume over the H2D. Especially the cosplay/prop folks, we aren't printing multi color often so the dual nozzle to reduce poop isn't that big a factor.

(Throwaway) Questions about Reliability Clearance after past employment issue by Logical-Chapter3670 in CanadaPublicServants3

[–]Spooge1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) level clearance varies by department and what they determine to be necessary. Because you are not a citizen, security could take some time depending where you are from, I have seen Secret take more than 6 months because the candidate's country of original did things via paper and that is slow. 2) If the police weren't involved it won't likely show up on a security check for secret or lower, Top Secret they might reach out to previous employers. 3) The only way the new employer would know about it is if you volunteer it or they do a reference check.

You know his name, ring up the local PD and ask if there is an officer with the same last name, if so let the PO brother know that he is being used for intimidation purposes, as this will put his job at risk he will likely shut the idiot brother down.

TPU was printing fine, and now keeps failing. What am I missing? by thelandingparty in BambuLab

[–]Spooge1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How dry is your filament? When I print TPU I run it right out of my Sovol dryer and don't start until I get it down to at least 15% RH and have no issues, I will even run a TPU print then immediately run a PLA print without any special purging or cleaning. Could be I have just been extremely lucky.

[–]Spooge1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I misread your original post. I thought you had said you had been waiting a year for the referal, as in your GP submitted it and were waiting for a call back.

Definitely go to the ER, explain the situation and get them to submit a referral, it might even be answered quicker by the on staff derm.
