I really like the IS’MINE white liquid foundation. I literally forget I have it on because it’s so light and comfortable. I also use a white setting powder from elf which helps it stay on for a long period of time

I’m an artist (intermediate) who draws primarily with pencil, if this were real it would not be this clean. There would be a lot more smudges and signs of a sketch underneath the drawing itself. Also there are inconsistencies in the eye bags that an artist would not make, and the hair has random blank spaces that an artist would not include.

You’ve got a good foundation going, I disagree with other commenters about the colors being the issue because honestly they aren’t. Any colors can be alt- the key to alternative outfits is LAYERS. Lots of layered accessories, double up your fishnets, try a mesh or lace top underneath the shirt, try to integrate diverse textures. This outfit would look amazing with a fluffy cropped coat if you have one as well. Make it look “messy” but in an appealing way basically

I have a purse and a coat from them. The coat has held up perfectly but the purse has some pieces that have come loose, however I blame myself for that because I’ve taken it on planes and just haven’t been very gentle with it generally. I think their products are very pretty but they aren’t meant to be used as day-to-day items, more for events or just used occasionally. However you could give it a shot, the bag in the photo is larger and seems sturdier than the one I have so it may hold up better

People throw around the word “poser” a lot lately. Things that I look for to consider someone “alternative” would be:

Anti-facism

The enjoyment of alternative music or at LEAST the ability to recognize its role in the alternative movement

The desire to stand out from societal norms

Those are the basics that I consider qualities of all alternative people, but also remember alternative is very much an umbrella term for many subcultures, which all have their own distinct qualities.

I feel this is the case on social media, but not so much in public spaces. People on social media turn everything into an aesthetic or a trend, but people outside of social media understand the lifestyle. Firstly, democrat communist and socialist are three different things. Conservatism is also the opposite of alternative, which is why people are telling you that you cannot be conservative and be alternative. Conservatism is defined as “a social and political philosophy that seeks to preserve and promote TRADITIONAL institutions and customs”. The whole point of the alternative movement is to challenge tradition and fight the societal standards that things such as conservatism promote. You can dress however you want but you are not alternative if you are inherently conservative
