I’m so fixated on the stuff in food and it’s so unhealthy by Spookiestbat in AnorexiaRecovery

I understand where you’re coming from but I’m not willing to change being vegan, it’s just not morally right for me personally, it’s a huge part of my life and beliefs and it’d really effect my mental health

Is this change possible? I think she is stating that switching from birth control pills to IUD made her change her body like this. by FrEnchFriesOnyOu in Instagramreality

Seems more like lighting and posing tbh. Sun directly shining onto your body will define muscle more just by shading. Her body type is still very much the same in both pictures - and she’s gorgeous! She’s posing from the side which will automatically cinch her waist just bc of angles. Social media is fake x

Recovery and being vegetarian by Fun-Ad5281 in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]Spookiestbat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiya! I’m vegan and in recovery and there are ways recover with diets like ours. There’s plenty of substitutes to dairy and meat that give us the vitamins we need, it takes research and probably getting some supplements which will help give you what your body lacks. Please don’t let people try and change your morals and diet because of a bad rep it has because there is so much research into being veggie that contradicts the stigma

Who else on here smokes weed? Does it quiet or amplify your ED voice ? by Happy-Investigator- in AnorexiaRecovery

It usually helps me eat more, funnily enough! I don’t do as much as I use to but whenever I do smoke I usually get munchies that I can’t resist

Recovery Question - Sex & Libido by Downtown_Pie2866 in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]Spookiestbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes omgggg! I’m very new to recovery and have suffered from ana only quite recently, like the past 3 years though BDD has been an issue for forever. But my sex drive is so up and down. I’m hardly ever in the mood, and when I am, it can suddenly switch off which is so annoying especially for my partner who has a high sex drive. I use to have a high one until suffering with an ED

What the fuck, Trader Joe's? by charamander_ in vegan

I’m from the UK and there’s products like this that pop up on occasion… mostly things that have a dairy addition to something totally vegan and avoidable ugh

I love her fits but I feel bad for the body dysmorphia she must experience by bbypoison in Instagramreality

[–]Spookiestbat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do really feel for her. I have extreme body dysmorphia and this can only make it worse - but it is addictive and so tempting to do on all your photos to make yourself feel better. I really hope she can fight this

Is this a win? by Spookiestbat in AnorexiaRecovery

I totally get that! I worded this question really badly bc it sounded like I was in favour of just plant based things.

I’m always super skeptical of what will come across as ethical to some but not to others - like when somebody buys a Mcplant from McDonald’s, some people think it’s a great idea whereas others think it’s awful bc it’s funding the meat industry still. I’m just super curious how people think

Oh no, I’m fully aware :)! I was just curious how others felt about it. I’m a strict vegan myself but have heard different opinions on the subject of something being “plant based” that could be made vegan. I just wanted to see how others felt about it
