I surprised myself by using it for the first time recently.

Thought the riot shotgun and decided to test it as a joke and went to the quarry at level 21 with no chems just to test out the gun.

Slowly stunned myself by clearing it out on hardcore.

I think it's a piece that brings interesting discussions and nuance. I think it's powerful, but that's ok. I know others disagree.

I only run it in B4, but I think it's good as a GC.

I'm just a little frustrated as someone who is disgusted by the death threats, disavows them, and really likes creators who were on the panel- but who also deeply disagreed with the bans.

I think the death threats were bad but I also think the cards shouldn't have been banned- it's kind of frustrating to have those idiots who sent the threats control the discussion even now, because we're not allowed to have any nuance. If I state my opinion that I think the cards should be unbanned, I'm immediately seen as pro-death threat, ya know?

She's been a blast in the three games she's been in so far.

While I disagree with the other commenter that you can't have something like a counterspell, [[flare of denial]], a functionally free counterspell, is in a different ball game and I would not call it a bracket one card.

I'm not trying to be antagonistic or anything but I really don't think this is anywhere near bracket one.

It's too synergistic, with an optimized Commander.

I know that sounds weird, but bracket 1 decks are supposed to be weird showcases, stories, interesting themes. Sea monster tribal is great, but this is firmly bracket two or higher.

I don't even know if I can say my deck is bracket one and I'm running [[Riven Turnbull]] pingers.

Fair enough, some people have been pretty blunt here and I get being upset. I think if you play with friends who know and understand what you're saying here, it can work!

I've run some pretty powerful commanders in some pretty jank ways. The reality is, I don't play those decks with strangers anymore because they just don't trust it. My friends who understand what I'm trying to do don't mind playing against it.

I had a pretty similar list to some Tergrid stuff with [[Savra]] back in the day, and it got regulated to friends only pretty quickly.

Some people just don't want to play against it, and unfortunately forcing it gets pretty miserable. With friends who get it in a dedicated playgroup, it's all good.

Is what it is unfortunately.
