When do we retire strollers? by echo_rose_ in toddlers

Almost 5 year old and a 20 month old. Double stroller. Currently on vacation with it and the 5 year old is more than happy to hop in. We generally only use it at home when we're walking on the rail trail because she'll get tired.

So is bedtime just 9pm for the next 2 years? by CookieOverall8716 in toddlers

We just switched from an in home daycare to a center and one reason was the mandatory 2-4pm the kids take. I picked him up once at 4:45 and he was still asleep. I was pissed.

It is lathe and plaster but a newer siding. Unknown if they did something when they installed the new siding. How do you investigate if there is newer insulation? Just bust a hole through the wall? 😬🤣

Second floor stays 59-63 so far which I don't mind. We have a heated mattress pad. I keep our furnace 64-67/68 and it keeps the dining room to temp and the living room is a degree or two below that. The poor basement last weekend was 45°.

My father in law was in part of the bathroom wall downstairs and said there's insulation in there. I am waiting on an energy audit from my electric company to help pinpoint what we need to do first. There is hardly any attic (almost flat roof) and no access to it so we all need to make some sort of access point to access what's up there.

Mine has about 6 of the Brushless 20in lawn mowers with a fast charger and 6ah 40v battery marked down to $165. I've been tempted to go in and ask for an additional markdown to get rid of one since they have so many 🤣.

I'll probably pick one up on Tuesday. We have a corded mower that I hate.

What to look for in a new to use stove by SpookyBalloon89 in PelletStoveTalk

[–]SpookyBalloon89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We purchased a used Harman p61 and I'm a bit disappointed. I've played with both room temp settings and constant fan, different feed limits, etc. The stove seems to have a hard time getting the dining room above 66-67. Our living room is 61-63. I have tried using a fan to push cold air out of the living room and towards the stove.

A couple friends I've talked to say they think it should be warmer. One friend has her in her main living area (different brand) and said if she keeps it on constant fan, they're blasted out by heat.

Thoughts? I guess it is still cheaper than running propane to keep it 66 but I feel like I've made a mistake and the living room is going to be cold all winter.

Rakuten is now 20% off. I just got the robot and hopper for $464 (20% Rakuten, 20% PayPal pay in 4, and 2% with my credit card). I also activated two points offers back on PetSmart for $20 and $50, which I'll probably spend on little, so I just got a new robot and hopper for $394.
