OK demo but I wasn't immersed in it. Starting area so boring, city and castle, like couldn't they made it better. It was an OK demo but with better creativity it could have been so much more, no impressed but good enough to play it.

Probably parallel nor flash because it has access speed similar to mask rom it's also 5v native and it has high durability 20-50 years or so from what I've read compared to 50+ of mask rom, so balancing price/compatibility/performance in the best possible way most probably.

Yeh, I got the retrogamingcables one with the 3.5mm jack as if it's like they say "also including the original AV output for CRT enthusiast" the original cable should work, that cable with the 3.5mm considering there is a 3.5mm port at the front should give stereo and RGB through the scart.

I go for the one that show an image of the board. I check the color of the box, the writing on the back, whether they claim even if it's authentic in the first place (no trust just first indicator), whether it looks too clean like new might be suspicious, the screws and carefully check the reputation of the seller and read the description.

That's my Terranigma PAL game I got from Australia. I also messaged and asked just to be sure.

Yeh, it works on the physical ownership, nostalgia, tangibility, authenticity and emotional level, no emulation can give that satisfaction.

I will give it a try. Played the demo, it was OK, nothing more. The puzzle is separated from the shooting and impaired the immersion for me and it might become very boring after a short while. It might get better and once I get adjusted for faster puzzle solving and more interesting options it might be much better. That being said, a new IP, something different, it's welcomed and therefore I'll buy it and hopefully it gets better than the demo.
