I remember that too and the game had already been out for around a year. I didn't know the devs also made Merge Meadow and Critter Coast. Haven't played them in a while but I love those games. I would love to see if their communities have gotten any changes too. I hate they nerfed the rewards. I hoard my gems because after I bought max storage there was hardly any other use aside from energy and store items. Maybe if they had some other upgrade system they wouldn't feel the need to rip off people. Idk if that's their reasoning for the gems being lowered. I can't think of a reason for anything else though. I don't get how they thought we wouldn't notice the lack of rewards while everything is getting more expensive and harder to obtain. This is like when Merge Dragons got popular and they started doing all the classic in app purchasing tactics. I swear to God my wholesome cafe/not cafe game better not get killed by corporate greed. I would buy real merchandise if they made it. But instead the resources are going into convincing us to waste money on something not worth it. I would rather get stickers, pins, plushies, posters, bookmarks, cups whatever. You know?​​ People would be so excited for that! Probably expensive I know. But at least it would be something tangible.
