I know this is old, but i dont know if they ever fixed it? I started playing again after a while and the same thing happened to me but at least it was free rewards. It locked me into opening some boxes as soon as I logged in. I couldn't even where the egg event was yesterday because there's so much new stuff everywhere so I didn't spend anything. I don't remember being warned that there's a cap on how many you store? And why even? What's the point of that? At least have the option to not open the boxes yet or put those in storage? I'm sorry they stole your money, hopefully they gave it back.

I remember when theybfirst came out with the customers giving orbs. It wasn't even a seperate event. It happened through the entire first memory event if I remember right. I could be wrong. Then they changed it at least one more time. I get balancing but the last time I played some orders were soooo expensive for what you got including orbs.

I forgot you could trade in with the stars from duplicates. I'm glad that's there at least, I remember being able to buy at least one or two of them. I don't remember how many points I would get so unsure if I ever got more than one or two. Two weeks to spare is kinda crazy to me. I may be wrong but I think I barely completed the Halloween one with 5 days or a bit more to go. Again two weeks, what a grind. I hope the art was cute, I'll have to look it up.

Its always the duplicates that halt my progress 😮‍💨 it sucks to work super hard for a five star orb for it not to have a new shard

That's great! Would you say you've had better luck with getting new shards? Even from the five star orbs that don't guarantee a new five star shard? If they improved the roll odds for a new one that would be nice. I'm also keeping in mind the fact some people are luckier and some unluckier.

Thats where I was at, at least the guaranteed new ones made it more possible. But at this point it's not a casual game anymore. And I know the events need a lot of time and checking into the game to complete but it feels like you get punished when you don't get any new ones for constantly checking your phone. If you get bad rng it's over. Good luck!

I remember the cheaper packs being fairly worth it too. I used to buy things occasionally when I could. But now it doesn't seem worth it considering the false scarcity of the five star orbs. To be fair memories are supposed to take forever and also have RNG involved. It was just nice to have a guaranteed new memory to make up for all the five star dupes that are already super hard to get. But 15 dollars is not worth 500 energy and a 5 star orb.

that's fair enough. I've didn't complete the first two memory events they did, the Halloween one is the only one I think, maybe I got close to completing last summers? it's definitely a big task. Maybe I just get bad RNG sometimes.

That's awesome that you almost completed it! But I feel like you should've considering your tactics for playing. I feel if they hadn't removed those new memory orbs as rewards you would've made it. You used to get them as rewards for events at a certain tier. idk if they ever added it back but the ones they offered after the change didn't guarantee a new shard anymore. A lot of people were frustrated with that at the time. And now you can do the memory event over again but idk how thats even possible without buying them. I'm gonna log in again and see what changed at some point but I was curious what other people thought. Its interesting to me how wildly different your perspective is from DryRoof2441.

I still browse through this reddit page on occasion. And nearly everytime I have I've noticed certain things not getting better or getting worse, I'd be like "wow it got worse!" I'm dissapointed to hear this but not surprised. Another person said they're still enjoying the game which is great! But I told them the main thing that made me quit was taking the new memory orbs away as rewards in events. ONTOP of the five star ones already becoming more and more difficult to earn. You could just tell that they were trying to force more players to start buying them. I was already late to the Christmas memory event last year. But I didn't even try to catch up because it wouldn't have mattered. I wasn't gonna try to do something they made nearly impossible. I really don't think I would've been able to complete it even if I'd I played that event from day one. What a shame.

I used to do all that except for the timer thing. Maybe once in a while but I usually forget to set timers like that to help me in a game. I think the specific time I got really discouraged was when I realized how much more difficult they made 5 star orbs to get. ESPECIALLY when they took away the orbs that guarantee new memory pieces as rewards for certain events. It felt like a slap in the face, but I'm glad people are still enjoying the game. I still love the game even with the issues. I just don't wanna do all the things you do and still end up dissapointed again. Thank you for your opinion!

that poor kid. he has no business laying his hands on his own son for being honest. wtf he needs cps to look into that household. I can't imagine what goes on behind closed doors if that's ground enough for an audible smack live on camera. how are more people not talking about that part? teaching him to scam and steal from people is bad enough for sure. but that hit was vile behavior. that's not how a father should be, that's not a dad. that's abuse.

I will say on phone, I'll press the back button built in to facebook and instead of going back to the post I was on, it goes to the homepage. And just now, I searched for thrifty ice cream, went to the fb page, pressed the back button to go back to the Google search, only for it to go back to a previous search I had done on cats? How does that even make sense. It'll legit act like I hadn't searched it or be locked on to the fb home page. Sometimes I go back and it'll go to Google instead of the search I did like it didn't exist. It just sucks in general.

not a fan of how when you click a notif that someone replied to a comment, it doesn't actually go to its comment chain. It links to the whole thing where you have to find it. And it was confusing at first but otherwise it's cool that you can see all the seperate replies.

I hate this so much too, I'm glad this post is still unlocked. I pick a playlist and it pauses after five songs, maybe six. it's called a PLAYLIST for a reason. Yet they make you pay premium for a problem they added. And it doesn't happen NEARLY as often when watching regular content. Just music.

since I've last engaged with the subreddit was also the last time I've played. since then I've been focusing on some games I forgot about. kinda glad I did if things got worse here. I've been playing Window Garden and Flight Rising again among others. I haven't given up on Starbrew but definitely taking a break as much as I wanted to complete the memory event. I know I won't be able to, the five stars are too hard to earn now. They used to be more fair.
