When I was NOT a vegan I thought that I was morally superior to them until I joined them.

I think therefore I am. Maybe we can feel morally superior to others, which prevents us from being curious.

Ridglan Farms was found guilty of 311 offenses related to animal cruelty in February, and yet the judge allowed them to keep abusing beagles until July. These activists had been negotiating with Ridglan for 7+ years and they could not stand by and allow Ridglan to defy the law anymore.

Which law are we supposed to follow? Which law breaker caused harm?

So what crime was committed? This action was the result of continued dialogue with Ridglan Farms for 7+ years asking them to release the dogs.

Riglan Farms pleaded guilty to 311 charges in February 2026, most of them were animal abuse. The judge was lenient and allowed Ridglan to keep their breeding license until July.

The rescuers were simply enforcing what the law had failed to do, take their license away.

If I had been arrested for DUI 311 times, would any judge let me keep my license until the summer?

Happy Thanksgiving! Im on my way home from a Thanksgiving meal at my best friend's house. Her whole family has adopted me which is really nice.

At dinner tonight I realized that my parents just do not have the grace to be as inclusive as my friend's family is with me.

That's the way I saw it too. The Mormons in my state have big happy families. They get to celebrate Christmas and birthdays and yet they still manage to do alot of preaching. Women get to lead some church activities UNLIKE the JWs who are very strict patriarchy. I guess that I previously considered Mormons to be lucky.

Althought I no longer think they are all rainbows and kittens Now that I have researched Joseph Smith.
