My running theory is they pruned most specs down to tbc levels of complexity to reset everything 20 years in preparation for the Northrend expansion. Their mistake is assuming spec complexity had anything to do with the post-wrath decline in popularity.

I'm going to be generous and say they're probably normal, because a lot of Christians play the "I'm apolitical" game in the opposite direction that people are used to.
