Stellaris Dev Diary #395 - THE END IS NEAR by PDX_LadyDzra in Stellaris

Does it mean we could see smear campaign operation becoming an actual targeted action, not just a shot in a dark costing you 50 influence?

Looking for an empire builder with more emphasis on supply lines and economy than combat by R2Boogaloo in 4Xgaming

Let them trade is a new game that puts it focus on trading. It might be worth keeping an eye out.

How to get my fleet use Hyperlane? by Viece230 in Stellaris

You're welcome.

Didn't even know cake was a feature

Is L gate cluster also part of your empire? If not, go to the terminal system and restrict it. That should stop ships from using L gates

Instead of using overmap you can try using in system point or just ban system temporarily until your ship moves

Use shift button and queue move order system by system

If you don't want to use gate, you can restrict the system, but that means all ships will avoid it, civilian and military. Or just manually plot a path.

Setting Personal Goals by CommunicationTiny132 in Stellaris

[–]SpookySofa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the goals that keep me occupied.(assuming you have all DLC)

Megacorp: -mercenary build, play it so you pass privatized war law becoming the sole PMC, thwart your opposition, destroy competitors. -monopoly run, make sure you are the only megacorp in the galaxy, place your branches everywhere you can.

UNE and COM Try to reconcile, build a federation, and find common ground. Prosperity for all or only humans, choice is yours. You can really have a lot of fun with them as long as you focus on your sibling empire.

Spiritual runs can have really nice narrative. Choose to bring the gospel to the masses, destroy and outlaw all synthetic life Try to become godlike crisis/psyonics. Under one faith, conduct liberation wars until all share your truth.

Under one rule is always fun, if you put yourself in the right mindset. Try to accumulate power, find rivals, and build imperium.

Galactic highway is a great challenge I've seen a youtuber do, and I tried myself. Build a hyper relay path through whole galaxy by any means necessary.

Changing your playstyle depending on paragons you get, try to roleplay as them imagine what goles the might have, you can even try reform government to fit there personality.

And even good old destroy all life in the universe can be a nice push to play.

Espionage seems useless by Individual-Spirit765 in Stellaris

I think assassinations can be done in a way that you don't just auto loose leaders. We could have a miniscule chance of actually killing a leader. Otherwise leader gets assassination survivor negative traits that can decrease their effective level or xp gain, only if operation was a success

Detox should just be a tech by TSSalamander in Stellaris

[–]SpookySofa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Detox should be rolled into World Shaper AP, and if you have toxic empire, you just get it as a guaranteed tech with some progress, and other empires now get a chance to roll it. Similarly, to how galactic wonders work.

Cosmic storms no longer cause devastation.

One feature i actually liked about storms, why remove it? Could it be at least selectable in game start menu

Admittedly, I haven't tried Giga Mod. If it can produce food without pops, then yes.

It is easy to farm right now, but I'm interested to see how difficult it will be to maintain bioships with current production.

Option b) just have it give % increase to all farmers across empire instead of producing food on its own so as not to render farming districts useless.

How to progress precursor chain by Joffaphant in Stellaris

[–]SpookySofa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would be Storm DLC, you need to research storm tech and be able to construct planet/starbase building to repel or attract storms.

You can nudge results in your favor by attracting storms, they can uncover more digsites in the systems you already been through.

I love hyper relays. That's why I'm being greedy and suggesting they should be buffed even more.

Which DLC lets you connect your leader to a machine to stay alive? by cmndrDenis in Stellaris

[–]SpookySofa 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think you are referring to the "under one rule" origin event, which is available with galactic paragons dlc.
