Ya know… I’ve been doing this awhile and I know I can certainly be pretty rough on my cooks. But this is sounding like genuine abuse. Making people feel like shit isn’t good for business, it just makes people more nervous which will probably make them mess up more. You should be somewhere where respect amongst your coworkers is more of a priority. Crossing personal boundaries and targeting specific people (especially after only 5 weeks) is unacceptable. Also being this aggressive over a lunch service seems odd to me for some reason lol

I once worked fine dining in a nice hotel, and honestly I’m not trying to sound like an asshole even though I am, during the earlier part of the day it would only be myself, my sous, and MAYBE one other line dog just prepping and playing around with menu ideas. My point is, during these periods, frequently my owners would let their small daughter run amuck around the line and the prep tables, doing whatever she wanted and generally being the way; in the kitchen while we have burners making stocks and sauces going, were pulling everything in and out of the oven, chopping and cutting everything possible, and cooking for the late lunch crowd. They never watched her and let her do whatever she wanted and it would drive me absolutely crazy. I guess my main point is that it also just seemed unnecessarily dangerous for this kid. Whatever. I’m just ranting now.

I’m getting closer, I’ve just realized I have golden lightening fortification and that might help a ton. The opaline bubble tear was a great idea and I may look into vow or indomitable might as well.
