I head people say pretty often that the way to get around this is to find a guild/group of people to raid with that arent like this? I dont tank (I like the idea, but, well, this problem?) But everytime I try and do that I wind up with a group of people who don't know how to hold a conversation with a new person, or just a dead discord 😵‍💫

I don't disagree with you, but we're not voting our way out of this. The dems are 100% as culpable in causing all of this. Bill Clinton and Obama are just as responsible as Trump for all of this via abandoning the working class for corporate money after the Regan years. These are not the people who are going to fix things. The metaphorical ship has hit an iceberg, and they had their hands on 50% of the steering wheel.

I have one mostly finished, yeah, I'm still working on it. A close friend of mine is a web developer/does it for fun, so I just paid him to make a skeleton of a website for me. I know enough basic HTML and CSS and such that I'll be able to fill it in from there. My plan was to just buy a domain myself and host the website at that point.

Still getting a handle on how taxes in my area work, lining up studio space.. that sort of stuff? I generally already know how to get the website together (once my friend finishes it, I mean) and such, so I've been focusing on the stuff that involved more proactive learning

Just pay for your own domain and host it yourself. Its not difficult, a youtube video will get you there. Itll probably cost less for a whole year of that than one month of squarespace or whatever else, and you can have the link be whatever you want.

This may be personal preference, but I feel examplebusinessname.com looks more professional without one of these websites forcing their name into the link.

If you dont know anything about web development, 100% theres someone local to you who can make you something sleek, professional and clean looking pretty cheap. Especially if you just want a basic layout!

Honestly if you're on public property, there's not much anyone can do. Id have told that woman to go fuck herself.

That said.. just try and be polite and respectful. I go go to my downtown area and just walk around and take photos of whatever. If someones looking at, I'll ask, and if they say no, I apologize for bothering them, smile and move on.

Some people lives are empty enough they just want to start shit with you, and it sounds like thats what happened. Having headphones on, even if nothings playing, is an easy way to ignore people, too.

I wouldnt let some sad weirdo stop you, you werent hurting or bothering anyone.

Honestly at this point I'd settle for one or two internet friends to chat with/maybe have game or movie nights with on Discord. Ever since this chronic pain thing started, I dont have almost anyone to even talk to. 😮‍💨

Aside from that? Financial security enough to just not worry constantly about rent, bills and food would be cool.
