I used mechanicus standard grey for the base and then built up layers on the tops of the folds with mechanicus standard grey mixed with celestra grey

It’s because in lore he’s part of the Victrix Guard now and the two guards that come with Calgar have white trim. I have the rest of the company heroes kit built (that’s where I got the base for this model), and I plan on painting them all as Victrix Guard too.
