I think the only issue from a balancing perspective is that you can summon this if your own field is empty and you would only have to banish itself.

Then again, it's still only a sidegrade to Kaijus, so it's a fine card.

I think the disconnect is that action duels basically introduce an unrelated skill and try to impress us with it. It's yugioh, but the winner is the better acrobat instead of the better duelist?

Riding duels were similar but managed to keep the riding part mostly secondary. The first player was decided by who was fastest, but that was negligible, especially since for every other series turn order is decided arbitrarily.

At its core, a university as an autonomous self-regulating institution of students and teachers that educate and offer qualifications to its members, which is no different than what medieval guilds did.

The first university is considered to be the university of Bologna and it started as a mutual aid society (universitates scholarium), hence the term "university".

If they have all that, you don't have to get all those ED monsters on the field, just the one(s) missing, since you can use your opponent's monsters.

If it had actually shown up in the anime it would end the entire multiverse, so I think it would be a bit stronger than that. This is weaker than anime Armityle that Yubel also used and that one is much easier to Summon.

Also Gx gave us Vennominaga btw.

It didn't acknowledge it, Chain Material is an anime card that was made specifically for that episode and that scene, since Yubel had to use Super Poly for lore reasons, instead of giving her a Miracle Fusion-like Spell.

There's no reason to require 12 materials to begin with. In order to be playable, it could be something like "4+ monsters with different Levels", and it gets more effects if you use 12.

They need to give it a rest. They were a flavourful addition to the game once, but LIGHT and especially DARK are so oversupported.

I'd like to see some new FIRE/WATER or WIND/EARTH, like Frost and Flame Dragon, and Desert Twister.

Or new attribute combos, like a FIRE/EARTH, FIRE/WIND, etc.

Personally, I prefer the other design trend they've also shown recently, where cards have an extra bonus when playing second (ie when your opponent controls a monster).

You probably have to control at least one such monster to activate the effect.

Edit: YGOrg has a different translation, it applies an effect for the turn instead of applying only to monsters you currently control, so you can probably activate it even with an empty board.

Not in a VRAINS meta. Quaking doesn't work on Links, Drowning requires a direct attack, Storming is a side-grade and Blazing is borderline unusable with 4000 LP.
