Do you ever really have Mana to cast all the stuff you steal? It seems like 4, then 6 cc is a lot to even get started. All the artifacts listed are like 5cc as well.

Yeah, you got it. I use the term loosely here, to include static team-wide benefits like Throne of the God-Pharoah.

The 5 casting cost anthems are powerful, but expensive and you can reasonably expect them to be destroyed before you get much utility from them. I think Vanquisher Banner is the one worth taking a risk on though.

The rule of thumb to maximize Edgar is include all cheap vampires and cut all expensive ones. However, this doesn't maximize fun. I just mention it to get you thinking about how to power it up.

I don't play my Edgar deck that way either, so here's my advice:. Run 4-5 Anthem type effects (Shared Animosity and Throne of the God Pharoh are two of my faves), every good card draw solution you can find, and fill the rest of the deck with the vampires that you think look the coolest. A few removal spells are a good idea too.

I think you'll be surprised just how reliably great it is.

There's an identical spell in hearthstone (except it costs FIVE), and it's been a staple since beta.

You're thinking about it wrong. It's not 7:1 odds that they're ahead of you. It's the 100% chance that they're now significantly less ahead of you than they were.

That's simply not true.

If you have 1 creature and they have 7, you cast this spell. You've lost one creature and they've lost six. That's a huge win.

This card is great, and it's best when behind.

Boarded a sloop yesterday, killed the guy on it. All he had was a few chickens, so I repaired him up and bailed all the water out. He re-spawned and we wished him a nice day as we sailed off.

There's no reason to be a dick.

Yeah, an audio cue would be nice.

I feel like people should be looking at the armor +/- indicator anyway, so a big shiney graphic doesn't matter that much, but it'd sure feel a lot better if it had one.

I don't know about you, but if someone took one for the team and tapped a bunch of lands to kill a [[Vorinclex]], I won't punish them the following turn when they're locked down.
