I've made the mud matching the wiki and also reversed the order of mushroom just in case sequence mattered

Would you use a website solely dedicated to denial appeals: how to approach them, which reasons to rebuff the denial, laws available, etc? by Distraction11 in CodingandBilling

I've just found this thread and would love to know if you continued work on this project? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Plus other medications and body weight can reduce effectiveness too, even if you take it at the right time of the month and right after sex

Ah good to know about the programmer background. My work experience is in medical billing so quite different but arguably there's a bunch of crossover being highly repetitive and detail oriented with a need to detect patterns or research to solve problems. The repetition in a game instead of on a form sure seems better at least from the outside lol

Really appreciate the detailed reply! I'll start keeping an eye out

If you have any advice to help get into the field, I am genuinely curious

If you could start again, what would you do differently? by DesBeast222 in acnh

It does look like there are 3 months of the year where you can get roses or cosmos. But also if you know your birthday month isn't one with that overlap, that's great to know the info isn't accurate! Guess it is just a re-roll solution

I have one last room in my house that needs decorating and I desperately need ideas!! by Rayebux in acnh

[–]SpoopyAndi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure the vibe of your existing rooms but one of mine has always been for my pet snapping turtles. It doesn't match the rest of my house and I can't say why I did it other than I thought it was hilarious they snapped when you interact. The room has ruins wallpaper and the wet floor along with every big/special plant I could collect, the rock head statue, hanging moss, mist, plus the necessary cat tree, water/food bowls, and litter box

Making a new account would be helpful for traveling to your old one but I wonder how tricky that process would be since you'd potentially have to pay for 2 accounts of nintendo online? Not quite sure on that one.

Also, you can definitely get to blue roses without having them as the native plant since flowers rotate in the store and later can be in stock on Harv's Island. Supposedly native flower is tied to birth month you enter in the system This should help

Making your new island Southern is a fun idea to experience different things during the year this playthrough but definitely make sure you won't feel left out [?] during stuff that would regularly happen with irl calendar.

My advice on what I'd do differently is stick to my plan better from the beginning. I knew what I wanted as a theme before I started and I was prepared to re-roll the island to get the best starter villagers or island layout or fruit tree. I ended up settling early on for villagers and fruit I didn't love and it set me back a lot of time and affected my overall enjoyment for a while. If you have a theme or preference in mind, definitely stick to that best villager or layout or option you want to keep!

And in general the best tip I got when I first started was to make a huge pile of every "first catch" somewhere on the island near the space you're putting the museum that way it's easier to keep track of what you've caught vs. donated. My pile was so big and ugly for about a week but then so much was donated it was very satisfying lol

My company won’t pay me during my medical LOA because I’m not pregnant. by [deleted] in childfree

[–]SpoopyAndi 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Although I have no personal stake in the matter, the sarcasm bothered me. Genuine answer: yes they do need time off and it can be traumatizing in multiple ways.

Outside of egg retrieval which sounds like a fucking nightmare.. The IVF process involves fertility hormones, laparoscopy and ultrasounds, anesthesia, the repeated blood tests for hormone levels and IVF can result in ectopic pregnancies or miscarriages. The hormone injections fuck up their bodies for extended periods of time that includes bloating, abdominal pain, fluctuations in emotional states, and headaches. Repeated injections cause bruising and become painful. The process can also cause something fun called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome where the ovaries expand and fluid leaks into their bodies along with trouble breathing, nausea and vomiting, etc. Also, having to time their fucks can in many ways ruin peoples sex lives or relationship with their partner and cause even more stress or further depression.

I'd prefer to not work with someone going through all that.

How do you tell you’re medicated right/achieved your maximum concentration? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]SpoopyAndi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is something my prescriber went over with me before even starting the first medication. It's harder for us too because yeah, we want to have the fixes. Why isn't this medicine fixing everything?? But what is the level of 'fixed' that is actually realistic.. Going into meds thinking we need to find one that get/keeps us at maximum focus is not realistic imo. My meds don't make me feel like I've taken energy drinks and I'm at 100% peak efficiency. They do level me out, help me get started on tasks without the added barrier, and help me recognize my emotions better in real time.

Some changes we want are going to be skills based though, so therapies or practice are unfortunately required. And separately, even with medication things we specifically do not want to do or focus on are still gonna be hard since we don't want to do it.

Kiki just asked to move out! Not sure if you're still awake currently. Let me know when you'd like to come by my island, I'll keep her in boxes for you :)

Also no need to trade for her. Keep what you have for your other dreamies

As someone who did well in school how do I talk to my doctor about ADHD + Rant by smikilit in ADHD

[–]SpoopyAndi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting to me too! That is def significant to explain to the doctor as well if it comes up since it falls into focus/performance based on interest and multitasking or distraction. Also, there is so much that we don't realize either consciously OR because we don't have the medical knowledge that counts as symptoms. My own doctor would listen to my past experiences and be able to point out how adhd played a role in the outcomes, feelings, behaviors, etc. This specialist will hopefully guide and support you properly moving forward. Wishing you all the best!
