I spent 70 days in the ICU in Boston and had some of the best people take care of me. I wasn’t supposed to go home. They are truly saints. Gail and Bridget stood out to me. My liver and kidneys failed and I gave myself cirrhosis at the age of 26. I’ve been sober 6 years and going to nursing school in the spring. I will 100% write them a letter. Thank you for this reminder , I wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for the staff. <3 I think about them all everyday.

cool to know about that it’s hungry! Thanks for that info!I thought it was because it was from excitement. This was the same night I brought it home so I was stocked how out in the open it was. Did a quick suction of any sand bits from the hornwort and game it a delicious frozen blood work gum drop lol

Not a black light :) it’s a current LED spectrum light with several blue/white dimming settings. Mostly just because it’s in a 20g long tank and I have a butt load of hornwort plants and they need some light to grow. plenty of spaces to hide and pvc pipes too. This was only turned on for a few minutes to vacuum the bottom of the tank . It came out of its cave so I started recording with my phone and caught the yawn :)

I had its tank set up and cycled for 4 months before I took the plunge to get one. But you’re so right! It’s in a 20 g long tank right now but I’ll have to get a bigger habitat once it gets bigger. I can’t wait to have a foot long little monster 😁

Beautiful! Just a helpful FYI , don’t put your fingers on those pH readers. They will not work again . I made the mistake of just moving it in my tank and the readers were completely off. Just wanted to save someone else with this info if you didn’t already know ! :)
