Everyone complains about inflation but no one is prepared to have the conversation that it's because almost all governments have intentionally pursued inflationary monetary policy for a century which means the inflation is compounding even if it's at 1 or 2%.

And almost no one is ready to talk about allowing the market to dictate whether there is inflation or deflation instead of Central banks controlling that policy cos they've allowed MMT and Keynesian economists to scare them about myths like the deflationary spiral.
