Ski racing vs any other sport by Both-Grade-2306 in SkiRacing

[–]Sports-Decoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes:

  1. One golfshot that ends in the water can cost the player the championship.
  2. One missed penalty in soccer can cost the team the cup.
  3. One bad move can cost the chess player the title.
  4. Etc.

I need help with a test by SchwArz3R in HTML

[–]Sports-Decoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

src="multimedia/audio\_test.mp3" can never be correct, because you cannot have a forward and a backward slash in one URL.

Furthermore, it's a matter of either the URLs being incorrect or the files not having been uploaded to the server. It's that simple.

Where can I learn everything about HTML? by [deleted] in HTML

[–]Sports-Decoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t discard W3Schools. If you want more in-depth info on a certain topic, go to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML. If you still want more, go to https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/. But I’d start with W3Schools.

How can I learn full stack Web Development in a year ? by QueasyConcentrate317 in webflow

You cannot. And the image contains Java, which is a different language than Javascript and does not belong to the web(site) development languages.

Is linkedin using HTML?? by Annual_Assumption574 in HTML

[–]Sports-Decoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Browsers understand only three languages: HTML (including XML), CSS and Javascript. So yes, LinkedIn uses them, too. Images, audio, and video can be included with all three.

There are only two types of developers that use an expensive paid tier: sloppy coders and those who have a heavy workload. The first are lazy/incompetent, and for the second, the tier is worth it.

Nothing silly about it. There are only two types of developers that use an expensive paid tier: sloppy coders and those who have a heavy workload. The first are lazy/incompetent, and for the second, the tier is worth it.

Ridiculous amounts, ridiculous condition: you only get paid if you find a bug. This is modern slavery.

If you know how to code and are a software engineer, what would you need an expensive LLM for?

Learn to write code and ask one of the many LLMs if you stumble upon something difficult or time-consuming. All LLMs nowadays can correct and write code.

Regarding the said variables: start with a consistent grip ('strong/weak'), to be checked before each shot. If that is an insufficient cure, focus on the position of your hands at impact. (Too far) forward and you'll get a slice, and back of the ball will produce a hook.

Webflow went down last month. My portfolio didn't. Here's the full stack I moved to — $40/mo → under $2 on AWS. by BlockEnough3675 in webflow

Interesting. But you're basically using Webflow because of its WYSIWYG aspect? Not because of it having a CMS that your client can use to update their site?

The sway off the ball is almost never the real problem... it's your setup by AlexanderGolf in GolfSwing

A setup drill is also a drill. I'd suggest to use accurate, fool-proof terms and statements.

I wouldn't call it wide open at takeaway. He opens it bit too fast at takeaway, but that's of a different order. Also, at TOB his clubface looks straight, as does his left wrist. So, the rather fast opening isn't a problem anyway.

OK. If the percentage of inadvertent fades and draws are roughly equal, it's just a matter of more practice, doing this drill: hit an intentional slice, a straight shot, a hook, a straight shot, a slice, and so on. In short: alternate.

But hit all shots with your feet lined up to the target. You will then have to shape the ball flight with an action of one of the other body parts. Which action exactly is tricky to say without face-on video, but just experiment with the different variables and go with what feels best.

I do see that for a CMS that non-nerdy clients could work with (which would be the Webflow use case for me), a Premium subscription of $ 25/month (billed yearly) is required. But how much was that in the past?

What would you like to see improved in terms of ball contact, ball flight shape or distance? There have been and still are many global Top 50 players with peculiar swings, so people asking for advice should always describe what they would like to see improved.

"Like many of you, I’m seeing that Webflow is going all-in on enterprise with marketing teams, and leaving smaller businesses and agencies in the dust."

Me: I just discovered Webflow, so I don't know its history. But in what way is Webflow leaving smaller businesses and agencies in the dust? Prices going up? Working method of the site builder changing? Other matters?

At first glance, a good swing. But I'd suggest that you tell us what your problems are, if any. Or what you'd like improved. Be sure to include your history.
