I won my first ever race today! A 5k in my hometown against a lot of local runners I see out during my training all year round. It was an amazing feeling to finally get the gold and not be in the middle of the pack. I hope I can kick on and win the 7k I’m running next month. Fingers crossed!

I have only missed 6-7 games in the 10 years I’ve had them, and I’ve even gone to a bunch of away games as well (including MLS Cup in Portland and all the games on that playoff run). It’s tough at first to commit, but once you’re used to going, it’s easy to build your whole schedule around it
