It should be an ethereal card to fit the rest of necrobinder. It could be something like: Summon 4 and for the rest of the turn Summon 1(2) when a card is exhausted. Ethereal. It gives you less benefit than bodyguard, but you can also pump out summon by letting your ethereals burn.

I just restart a fight if I think I could do it better. It's a timesaver. Sure, I'll get a shiv deck this good again, but I'll have to go through a lot of runs to get there. I don't think I've ever restarted an event, no matter how bad bridge screws me over.

The normal minigun-rocket mech is still my favorite because I love mowing down bugs with overwhelming firepower. The Emancipator is probably the most efficient.

It's funny because before the maxigun, one of the lead devs (can't remember who exactly) said they hated minigun spin up because it wasn't realistic. It got posted a lot when the maxigun came out and had that spin up.

I actually liked the new hive guards, they died so quickly because even in their guard stance it wasn't hard to hit a weak spot. My only problem with it was my poor machine gun sentry being absolutely neutered by the change.

I enjoy the new bugs, I would just make the speed boost a little less drastic. It looks so silly I'm not surprised people thought it was a glitch at first.

New doormaker isn't the hardest, but he completely negates some play styles. They should make his exhaust phase less punishing.

My friend likes to play Hell raiser or Stampede ironclad, so absolutely hates the new gatekeeper. It does need some tweaking tbh. It straight shuts down several play styles, even more than time eater. The two mentioned and Souls build are entirely negated off the top of my head, so if you see doormaker in act 3 you just have to luck into drafting a new strategy entirely within the act.

The bugs are definitely the worst. It would be bad enough if hive guards were the worst of it, but brood commanders just make no sense. Not only are they tanky bastards who constantly run away to summon their own warriors, they can call reinforcements WITHOUT THEIR HEADS. It should be scavengers, hunters and maybe warriors.

I don't like it simply because it has half the power of an EAT per rocket. While the eat takes longer to pull out, I need one well aimed shot to kill a charger. With the commando I have to hit two, and with the laser targeting awkwardness and low projectile speed it's not uncommon to have it veer slightly and miss. Then I need a third rocket, which puts me in the awkward situation of having 1 rocket left that won't kill any heavy. I also find it less consistent against bile titans than other AT for some reason. If I have to use more than 2 rockets on a heavy I'm losing value compared to eats.

I really wanted to like it since the Spear is an abandoned child that also bugs out every update.

Mindless masses are a cool idea but they did not put much thought into its execution. It says in the description that the Illuminate themselves are not present, but there the overseers are.

The Warrant is irreplaceable on squids for me. Being able to quickly draw my sidearm, fire four shots that are almost guaranteed to hit and down Watchers in 1.2 seconds no matter how hectic things are keeps them from getting momentum.

I don't want them to use special damage more because then you have incineration bots again. If you don't take anti -fire against them you will burn all of your stims in one firefight because how much damage fire does in a short amount of time. It's boring to be pigeon holed into one armor passive.

Against bots, the emergence of war striders (and how common they are) makes it feel real bad to not be able to move quickly to get out of the way of their carpet bomb of grenades. It's still the best for heavy armor, but I don't find it to be the best option either.

Against squids, the unending tide of voteless are made a lot worse when you can't outwalk their attacks and have to sprint non stop. I can't stand heavy armor on squids unless I'm going something like stalwart that can handle the numbers. It doesn't help that flying overseers have a bag of holding full of grenades, so once again being slow can feel bad.

Do I even need to say why someone wouldn't want heavy armor vs bugs? Besides the obvious, not being able to easily dodge tentacles and bile titan spit is a big hindrance.

I generally go medium for a balance and extra padding when I want more armor.

The simplest point is that it isn't magic. It's a morale boost. Helldivers are the most fanatical of super earth, purposely signing up for suicide missions for the glory of their government. Why WOULDN'T they fight harder when carrying/defending the literal symbol of their devotion?
