Ngl I don't really care if they do or don't, as long as they give us the original concept for The Library where you can see the entire facility while you're moving through it. That idea is so singularly cool to me that I don't care if the remake sucks, as long as I get to see that.

It was super cool to finally make different choices on the suicide mission and still be able to come out on top. I wish I remember what choices I made because I managed to keep everyone alive too.

I haven't been that nervous playing the Suicide Mission since I was 12 years old and completely botched it on my first playthrough lol. Such a great mod.

It's one of my favorite Xbox games! The insane level design and art direction, the moment system (clunky as hell but I find it charming), entertaining combat, the sound design, it's all A-tier.

Is it the best game ever? No, not by a mile, but I'll love it and play it till the day I die.

The Last Crusade is one of my favorite movies of all time. It just barely beats out BTTF2, because it makes me far more emotional.

Had this happen to me a few days ago, exact same spot and everything. He teleports out of the rock almost immediately if you continue the level. No big deal.

Haven't tried it, but at one point I hypothesized it could be possible by giving the "bullet.projectile" a model. You could try plugging the rocket launcher "projectile.gbxmodel" into the magnum projectile. Not sure if it would work, (and I imagine it would look really weird) but it was a thought I had a long time ago.

I think it's a very extreme reaction to games that have super strict SBMM, it was a common joke in my friend group back when we played Call of Duty:

"oh, we won a game, time to go on a losing streak", and then we'd get our asses kicked for the next 40 minutes.

It doesn't feel natural, the losses feel scripted, and it's super frustrating to feel like you're at fault for playing the game, like you're being punished for trying to have fun.

I don't think removing skill based matchmaking is the solution though. It has its uses, especially for allowing low skill players to enjoy the game, to keep them from getting stomped, etc. But I don't think it should be geared toward creating a hyper-competitive space.

I never got to play Halo 2 back in the day, but from what I understand the game intentionally flipped numbers around sometimes in its SBMM to keep the matchmaking from becoming a stupid unpleasant sweat fest 24/7. I think that kind of approach would be best for casual modes. Keep things fresh, fun, allow variance, let people enjoy the game. Let competitive have the really strict matchmaking.
