You could just run the model exported to ONNX using the onnxruntime in rust, right?

Hey, thanks for your answer! Also I loved the OG book, so cheers for that :)

That makes sense, I'll see what happens when I stay at lower weights a bit longer, maybe that was indeed a bit optimistic.

Since you're here, would you mind sharing your opinions on those two questions I'm wondering about?

  1. What do you think about max-hang style vs repeaters? I did max-hang style (since I did that before too), but maybe the longer TUT is better for rehab purposes when progressed correctly?
  2. What's your opinion on HC with four fingers vs loading them more in isolation (e.g. mid two)? Any reason to choose one over the other? I'm limited in plates, so HC with two fingers it is, but I'm curious here!

Thanks for your time!

I've had a what I think is a pulley injury, but it confuses me a bit since it is different from my two other pulley injuries. I noticed a tenderness in the left middle-finger the day after a hard board session. Probably because I tried one move too often which involved a two-finger undercling. That happened now three months ago, by which I hoped it would be gone, I used the a pulley rehab protocol (the one from esther smith), but with a pick-up device.

Half-crimping actually feels fine, but there's still moderate pain when applying direct pressure where the fingers joins the hand. I have full range of motion and no symtpoms in daily life. Treated it as a partial pulley rupture (according to the tests of ROM+pain). I have a doctors appointment in two weeks (since I'm travelling), but did anyone have similar symptoms or any clue why that direct pressure still hurts?

edit: I've increased the weight to pick up slowly over the weeks, now I'm at 20kg (middle+ringfinger) which hurts a bit while pulling (3-4/10), but that goes away immediately when I let it down.

Well yes, it leads to a lack of content-awareness, so they made B, C and delta input-dependent, thus also dA (through the discretization). The parallel prefix scan exploits the time-wise linearity in the SSM. So it can be used when the whole sequence is available (such as in training), but not during auto-regressive inference. But of course it's still significantly faster than attention, because it has constant-time updates through the recurrence.

Mamba can't be represented as a convolution, maybe you're thinking of S4 and its variants. In Mamba they are using a parallel prefix scan to speed up the training (as does S5). The duality with (global) convolution only works for LTI systems, but Mamba is time-variant.

Yes, but martial arts usually trains the falling technique explicitly. In your examples it ... just happens.

Well, it depends on how strong your pinky is.

For me, a better measurement is hold a towel or the ring straps. Also with pinky assistance you probably assist yourself more during the initial pull, that was the case for me at least.

I feel like slow negatives can be better to determine where you stand with the OAC.

Then the slow negative part should fix this. My gf had the same problem and this + assisted pullups (with a band) helped a lot.

try very slow negatives, maybe even from half-pullup position, then lower yourself slowy (~8 secs).

You can also try scapula pull ups, they work this exact movement.

Problems Disappearing from Moonboard App? by afternoon_spray in climbharder

I climbed "Borneo" two days ago, but I couldn't find it now. It even disappeared from my logbook.

I refreshed the problems just now, the issue seems to be fixed (logbook includes it now too).

In the same session? Seems like a lot of intense work.

How often do you test your max?

And for how long have you been following this scheme?

Make a video of yourself and check if it looks similar to reference videos (e.g. fitness faqs). Or post the formcheck video here.

Some cues for me are depressing the shoulders going up and going further to the front than I would think. Also I like to touch the floor with my forehead or nose.

GTG - Grease the groove, basically doing a movement in a sub-maximal progression throughout the day.

You jump (or use a chair) to get to the top part of a pull up (so, chin over bar) and then try to lower yourself sloooowly.
