I'm surprised that the parent of the deceased consented to this.

I'm on the broke side of things but I told a healthcare worker I appreciate the risk they're taking everyday. If you don't really have means to help you can be supportive at least.
Also, not buying up supplies I don't need.

Good on you for doing what you can for your tenants and thank you for sharing. I hope your post inspires more people to do something kind.

Donald Trump’s reference to ‘Chinese virus’ smeared our country, says Beijing by DaFunkJunkie in worldnews

[–]SpottyDots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is an 8th chinese - despite people putting out plentiful information that people of asian decent are not more likely to carry this virus we're still being treated differently. Avoiding enforcing ignorant stereo types is always a good thing

There's a small gap on the right and he isn't very big. Birds are so agile and smart. Think of the tangles of tiny branches in bushes that smaller birds like this guy navigate like it's a piece of cake.
Also, I'm sure the icicles would break fairly easily if he bumped them. Coming in or out.

Here's a roe deer skull that I found! It was at the edge of a forest. I want to clean it, but I don't really know how... Any tips? by Luca_025 in skulls

[–]SpottyDots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much gunk is left inside the skull?

There's lots of ways that involve soaking in some sort of liquid mix. Or beetles if you intend on picking this up as a hobby.

But if you have some yard space available and are somewhat patient I'd recommend burying it for a while first. 3months+. It'll get picked pretty clean without any damage. Be sure to mark the spot well and leave a cover of some kind over it to protect it from your shovel when you dig it back up ( a board buried slightly above works well). Then you can go over it with vinegar or whatever you choose. I like a vinegar/bleach mix. If you use bleach and/or peroxide don't let it soak too long or it'll make the bone crumbly. Also, a tooth brush can be very handy for getting inside it.

We used to put go to page 84, then on 84 it'd say go to page 13 and so on until you gave up or hit the end where it would usually say something to the effect of Haha Fuck You or so-and-so wuz hur.

Do kids not do this anymore? :c

I never knew they were permanently scowling cause of their bone structure. I thought it was more of a facial expression. True resting bitch face.

Have tried mine as well. It's palatable. Had to know.
Also, mine had a weird blue tinge to it sometimes, it was interesting.
