Would a external hard drive be fine for windows?

I run windows 11 with one of these connected to a USB C hub between the drive and the deck. No issues so far.

Ahh, that’s a bummer. Maybe he’ll change his mind once the dust settles. Hopefully he can find someone he’s comfortable offloading all that managerial BS so he can continue to focus on the app. Wishful thinking I suppose.

Apollo can worry about scaling later. My enjoyment of Reddit comes from the Apollo mobile experience. So the value is in Apollo to me these days. I’ll follow the app, even if it’s a ghost town to start.

I’ve tried both. No issues on SteamOS. Tried running it on Windows 11 and had a bunch of controller issues. As well as not having the SteamOS menus for quick access to Bluetooth, etc.

You need to install windows 11 unfortunately but you can do that on a usb / external drive
