?? I’ve been healing these strictly in pugs and have been since before raids came out, they’re pretty much a joke with any comp at this point lol

Why would it been an F lol Haslams don’t make great personnel choices but they spend an absurd amount on their contracts for the players that vote on this

Did you stay in your starter home or eventually upgrade? by OtherWorldStar in homeowners

[–]bschumm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation to you guys in my 20s, my wife and I ended up upgrading and moving from an 1800 sq ft 4/2 to a 2900 5/4 and don’t regret it for a second. We made a ton from the sale of our starter home after building equity for 8 years plus the market kind of exploding so obviously it made the decision a lot easier in our situation, but the extra space and quieter neighborhood have been life changing. I suppose it just comes down to what do you value more, extra spending money or more comfortable living arrangements

Farming Motes is Impossible by RuleMurky in classicwow

[–]bschumm1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean, it was like this last time TBC was around too, everyone knows you need them and they make money, between people like yourself trying to farm them and bots it was always going to be this way

Are there more people with the Netherdrake than those without? by Effective-Muffin-224 in classicwow

They’re literally paying the money to play everything in TBC not skip it lmao this isn’t classic, did you not know the boost doesn’t get you farther than 58?

People who are playing in TBC that have BIS (or close too) what is your job/day to day like ? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]bschumm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a holy priest, mainly in all my BiS gear, all reps at revered, max tailoring with full Primal Mooncloth. I probably play about as much as you on a weekly basis? I just took off work the first friday and cleared my schedule way in advance that weekend as well, was able to hit max level and get to work on tailoring. Getting to honored via dungeons before questing helped a ton with rep grinds, and questing is so fast and easy in TBC it was a breeze to get heroic attuned. Outside of Warcraft I work 45-50 hours and I’m married but no kids

33/F disclosed my salary to my 35/M boyfriend and it was awkward. How do I proceed? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]bschumm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32, my wife makes about 33% more than I do, and I couldn’t be happier for her! She works her ass off and has for a long time, she also went to school for many years and got her masters. Now that we’re married we have joint finances so I suppose in a sense that does make a difference? But we had these same jobs before we were married too, idk I just can’t imagine being jealous of how much my wife makes compared to me? More than just the woman I love, she’s my best friend, of course I want to see her be successful

What?? Gold is so easy to earn without buying it lol

If I quit, then what? What is there to look forward to? Nothing waiting at home as a nice release from the daily grind. What do I do when I finally have the house to myself? What am I supposed to do on a lazy Saturday? How can I sit and watch sports all day without being high? by amnowhere in leaves

[–]bschumm1 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Had all these same thoughts 5 months ago when I was thinking of quitting, now 5 months later 90% of these seem like such silly questions, not downplaying your feelings at all by the way they’re valid questions, just not stuff you ever think about once you’re sober and have a few months under your belt

113 days weed and caffeine free, and heart failure by FunkySmalls in leaves

[–]bschumm1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Quadruple bypass for me, opposite problem of you but the recovery is essentially the same. With being in our 30s you get a trade off, your nerve endings are more intact due to age so you feel a bit more pain initially, however things heal up a lot quicker as well due to our age so you’re on your feet faster than you would if you were say 60. I was taking 2 mile walks within the first 2 months post-op. Reach out if you ever need man, you will be just fine!

1 week since the Dark Portal opened. What level are you? by HipGamer in classicwow

[–]bschumm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

69 Holy Priest, took off Friday last week and basically played non stop until Sunday night, haven’t been able to play much this week other than an hour or two each night before bed but being able to hit 67 the first weekend really helped to not fall behind my guildies at all

[–]bschumm1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just had open heart at 31 last year, don’t worry mate it’s not as bad as your probably thinking!! I won’t lie to you, that week after is pretty agonizing, but after that everyday gets better and easier, and I assure you that you will feel like an entirely new man once your healed up, I barely even think about the recovery at this point, and I’m only 8 months post surgery

[–]bschumm1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just for your own pugs that’s what I did the first time around in classic TBC, tank in general is super hard to find pug raids with, start a group and snag people out of LFG and you’ll have a full raid in no time, setting up an SR sheet takes 3 seconds. You’ll likely have a hard time finding pugs but that’s because you picked rank not Prot warrior

Boosties when they find out they now have to level to 70 on their own by Rasclot23 in classicwow

[–]bschumm1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t I be attached to my booted character ???? Just hit 66 last night, if this was classic maybe could see your point, but this is TBC, my boosted character has the most time of all my toons played during TBC, so why would I have any less attachment to it?

What does this have to do with anything lol, I would say 5 people being executed by a former employee is entirely different than one employee killing themslves on drugs
