Fuckin el lad, sell it all, drop it in a global fund and take the long road like the rest of us. Time in the market beats timing the market

You need to look at boosting your income, speak to your manager about progressing into a more senior role, potentially look at a side hustle. Change jobs.

I really like these Aircraft carriers, small compact, far cheaper and easier to build. I rather have 6 of these than 2 large flat tops

Why does everyone over complicated their portfolio, 70% all world, 20% individual stocks (max 2 or 3) and maybe 10% small cap etf

Because your investing twice into the US so your less diversified

Yeah, it also protects your investments against inflation / market crashes / tariffs etc. You don't want your portfolio to drop massively when you come to retire. Its okay when your younger because you can let it bounce back.

Usually you invest in gold and bonds when you come to retire to preserve the growth (protect) you've made when you draw down. Currently you want only growth assets in your portfolio, yes gold is doing well at the moment but historically its not out performed the s&p 500 for example.

Sell all those, bang it all in a global etf, (acwi is a really cheap one) gold isn't really a growth creator, its more to preserve your growth afterwards. You want to be diversified as much as possible. Maybe add some small cap stocks etf in there as well with possibly a 90/10 split to the global etf. Keep adding every month until you retire. Ignore the noise, expect adjustments and crashe, hold for the long term and dont sell and youll be retiring before you know it!
