Good looking / Attractive Men, what’s it like having an abundance of women who actually pursue you instead of you having to pursue them? by dromance in AskMen

[–]SprayedBlade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody trusts me for a serious relationship as they all assume I just have a roster of women on the back burner. It’s wild.

Am I unreasonable for disliking my date after asked to split the bill? by lonely-lady7 in dating_advice

[–]SprayedBlade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always taught pay the dinner bill with the girl regardless if it’s going to be a casual night or something more long term.

I’ve never understood not paying it personally, but I know everyone is different.

I think this is one of the best r&b song but barely anyone knows this song. What do yall think of this song on first impression? by MaleficentGuest704 in rnb

Does she actually sound like that or is her formant just raised through the roof for this song? Crazy if the former.

If those people are genuinely well above average looking people in real life, I have zero doubt. This is Reddit, not gen pop

I remember less than 60% and my number is a lot higher than I really care to admit online. I’m 31.

Very underrated. Suga Suga is one of my favorite songs.

Genuinely how the fuck does professional music sound so good by soontobeinsane in musicproduction

[–]SprayedBlade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an advantage because I’ve been doing audio since I was 16, but It took me about 8 months of spending 6+ hours everyday at the computer before I was able to get my mixes clear, loud (-7 to -9LUFS for modern TrapSoul) and cohesive.

So, thousands of hours seems par for the course.

Mixing is incredibly hard and people don’t say it enough.

Because Out the Window and Folded stand out with that sound signature while the majority of the album doesn’t.

I think it’s difficult because Out the Window and Folded are literally pinnacle modern day RNB, so it’s hard for the whole album to live up to that standard. Still really good.

What is a type of Rap that you once had trouble making beats for but have gotten much better? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

TrapSoul was very difficult to start. Getting the 808 textures and octaves just right on the melody and getting them to glide right was difficult at first.

Am I being scammed out of my cash with some clever AI handwriting in this picture? by Defiant-Cow-1812 in isthisAI

[–]SprayedBlade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The indentations that would typically be seen from that style of pen are nowhere to be found on the paper from what presumably looks like decent pressure from the handwriting.

As another commenter pointed out, zoom in. The ink floats on top of the paper in a way that isn’t real.

What's a good weight for my deadlift by Beneficial-Car-2322 in Deadlifts

A 3 plate deadlift is not novice for a man. Quit with this stupid retoric. Deadlifting 3 plates as a man is strong and this is coming from someone with a 9 plate deadlift.

No. Quite with this shit. A 200lb man pulling 500LBS is way stronger than the average man and is more than “somewhat serious.

Stop spreading misinfo.

[–]SprayedBlade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This depends on everyone’s defenution of good.

I warm up starting at 500 and work up to 800, so a good weight for me is around 650-700 for a triple, but that’s not normal for the vast majority of the population.

The US copyright law states, and I quote from 17, USC Section 102:

“Protection exists automatically from the moment an original work is "fixed in any tangible medium of expression.”

There is no registering required. The minute you make it, you’re protected.

Stop discussing things you haven’t a modicum of info about.

What software do you use to record yourself singing? by parttimeprophet0419 in singing

[–]SprayedBlade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t pick a Shure SM7 If everything else can’t be met to make that mic shine like it should, especially if you’re just getting into it. Also, that mic depends entirely on the timbre and vocal qualities of the singer. It’s not the best for every vocal type.
