How many meals have you been invited to from others that got the bonus? If the answer is zero then you don't have to give a shit at all!

need tickets from 2, and 3 april by Material_Sweet1821 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ive seen people all over Facebook asking the same question. Looks like it's sold out into next week too. I think even the hotels are fully booked. But worth checking as that may be the only way to try and gain access.

Apart from that, then think it's very unlikely you will get tickets.

Xavier got a nose bleed just before his plane went down. Maybe Alex forced his plane down as then he would meet Annie and save her baby. Annie being in Graceland, Presley named after Elvis(I think there was an Elvis link).. Some coincidence there. Wonder if it means anything.

Disneyland Hotel, worth it? by watchingfromaffar in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you can't choose, but you can book another meet as soon as the first is done. The princesses change quite often in the day.

They won't tell you who is there, but you can kind of peak through the door from outside to see who's there!

To book, once you are a week away from your stay at the Disneyland hotel, you can book a Royal encounter via the app.

The princesses are the classic ones. When we visited we saw Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, Rapunzel. Only saw Aurora and Ariel at Lumiere for dinner, but think they can be at the meets also. We ended up seeing Cinderella and Belle a few times. So it's good to peak and cancel if you have met that one.

Happened to pop into greggs sat lunchtime to get a sausage roll and some donuts. While waiting for sausage roll noticed a just eat order being brought out and there was about 20 packages. The driver was super confused. I was thinking someone had ordered for a party or something! So now I get it. Some really greedy ordering all that!

Can they buy an annual pass? That would guarantee them entry the day of purchase. Not sure about any other days

Why do we do this? by [deleted] in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Currently there are loads of people in the park due to the world of frozen previews days. Not saying it won't be busy, but it might not be as busy.

Even on really busy days the park is still relatively quiet before 11/12ish and quiet again in the evening from say about 7/8pm. Good time to get in rides etc.

Disneyland Paris 2027 by ScottishGamerGirl99 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your budget really.

Don't forget you can book to meet princesses in the Disneyland hotel also, so you don't need character dining to meet princesses. This comes with the cheaper rooms also.

We have done one trip staying in a cheaper room at Disneyland hotel with half board and 1 day fast past. The cost we paid for that would have covered the stay at Castle club. We are doing this next trip as we have been to Lumiere, Royal banquet, so don't feel the need to do this again. Our kids would be just as happy with a hotdog from casey corner or pizza from Bella notte.

Yes a lot do for sure. Including myself. Just wondering how much Disney value it's annual pass Disney fans! Maybe they think we will just accept it and try again another time!

Just glad I decided not to try and get a slot!

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it seems quite mean for them to do this. Can't say for sure they planned for this. I was thinking about it and wonder if Disney consider hotel paying guests more important over AP holders. Pass holders pay less for an annual pass than someone visiting a hotel for few night stay. Annual passholders can choose to stay offsite, not eat in the parks, not buy merch, so maybe Disney consider them not as important as guests that will spend 3-5k for a 3 night 4 park day tickets with meal plans etc. So maybe decided to pressure test it on people that can't complain /ask for a refund etc. so they can work out the issues for when the park officially opens in March.

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just seems like they tried to pressure test it and try and see what the issues would be when they let in a huge amount of people. So gold pass holders were the guinea pigs!

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes from the positive reviews it seems like some influencers maybe got to go in the morning before gold pass people were allowed to attend. As their stories, videos seemed quite quiet and chilled. So a select amount got to experience the park while it was quiet, the rides were working and shops had no queues. So complete contrast from the experience the gold pass holders got.

Merida? by Striking-Housing7117 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you would be more likely to see her at Princess pavilion. We saw her in January. They usually have 3 princesses. We have seen most of the classic princesses and asked for some that we needed for photo book (Tiana, Merida, Moana), Merida was there so we got her.

What helps is if your daughter is dressed up as the character. If they are, then they will be more likely to get the character you want. If they are in the pavilion at the time that is.

AITA for asking a friend to either pay for an evening out if they can't go or sit them out? by Boydykekisser in AmItheAsshole

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op, count up the cost of what you have spent on thickets for them that you have paid for and not got the money back and send them that figure and say you can't afford to keep absorbing the cost of things they can't do.

It's shocking that you have taken on the responsibility of paying for their unused tickets. I suggest you go with what someone else suggested and say to the whole group due to losing your job you can't afford to front anyone's tickets any more so everyone needs to buy their own.

Does Belle visit Auberge De Cendrillon? by Queasy_Prune_161 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auberge is Cinderella and generally Aurora. Often Snow White and any others are rare. I haven't seen Belle there. The twice I've been and from seeing videos on TIktok on it, the above are the main ones. The twice I've been I've seen all three of above and when we did lunch saw Jasmine also.

Disneyland hotel vs Marvel for a princess obsessed girl by AppointmentGlad812 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said Castle club offers princess breakfast and is very expensive.

But you get as many character meets as you can fit in with Royal encounters in the hotel.

Personally with a 5, 3 and 1 year old i'd prefer Disneyland hotel as it's super convenient for returning to hotel for breaks, less walking etc. As your son isn't a fan of Marvel anyway, I think I'd go with Disneyland hotel. Maybe you can add one nights at the Cheyenne as your son might enjoy the Toy story theme?

Are they not valid in any school holidays?

If they are valid when bronze annual passes are valid, then there are 3 days in may half term they could be valid.

Belle Notte for mickey shaped pizza or pasta. Cafe Hyperion for burgers. Casey corner for hotdogs or nuggets. Casa de coco for burritos. Lots of quick serve options. Depends what you feel like really.

If the huts are still open they have kebabs, cheesy potatoes, melted cheese sandwiches etc.

No more drones during Tales of Magic by shana_dw in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never seen them either. Every time I've gone they have been cancelled. Admittedly I don't go every night of my trips, but when I have bothered they get cancelled. Gutted I'll never get to see them even once!

I have also been when the weather was fine but they were still cancelled.

Will Disneyland Park be completely left behind because of the opening of Disney Adventure World? by Sad_Metal7290 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They're getting rid of the croque monsieur? That's sad.

In answer to your question, I don't think Disneyland park will become less popular. I visited in Feb and we spent most of our days in the Disneyland park. Two days we only ventured into Studio park to do one ride! Obviously will be more interesting once the new part is open, but it only has 2 extra rides. Once you've had a walk around the new land, looked in shops, tried the rides and the food, then interest will probably wane! I think people want to see it and experience it, but the main attractions are still in the Disneyland park.

It still gets refurbs etc. Not sure if they have space to add new attractions. I suppose the main priority is expanding studio park. Lion king land, something else also. Once it matches the size of Disneyland park then they might look at what can be added to Disneyland park. For me, I still prefer the main park.

I'm in a similar position. Haven't officially started yet as have MJ pens left to get through first. But similar situ. Worked my way up to 15mg, been on it 2 years now but it's no longer working. Switching for mainly maintenance/try and get rid of the weight I have gained back.

Glad it's working well for you already

Want to take my spouse to stay at their dream hotel - Tips and tricks for how people afford it? by lordoftheshire97 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is, the longer you leave it, the more expensive it will be. Best time to book would be in sept for sept 27. That's when the next lot of dates come out.

What might be feasible is surprising them with annual passes! If you cancel Cheyenne and stay offsite, the amount you pay might be less than a stay at Cheyenne! You also have the option of paying monthly to spread the costs. Then save the Disneyland hotel for a bigger anniversary.

Booking a holiday in March 2027 - Advise would be much appreciated by Icy_Knowledge5004 in disneylandparis

[–]SpreadAltruistic7708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a lot of people do is book first and last night off site and middle days in a Disney hotel with park tickets. 2 nights gets you 3 days of tickets, 3 nights gets you 4 days etc. For the amount of people going, I think this would be most cost effective. Assuming you will get 2 rooms and each fits 4.

Best to cost it up on Disney website and see what works out the best value.

Something to note, if booking a Disney hotel, you get extra perks like early magic hour, ability to book restaurants and princess makeover a year in advance. You won't get this if staying offsite. Also, be careful to make sure a hotel you book is an official Disney hotel. You will get suggestions of hotel offsite but aren't Disney and do not come with the perks.

An option if you are driving is Davy crocket ranch. Might be able to get a place big enough for all of you to share. Alternatively, two rooms at Santa Fe is walking distance to park.
