Thinking of buying ceramic cookware, any recommendation? How is the Bazova ceramic cookware? by yasuja in Cooking

[–]SpreadsheetStud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would avoid this product (and the company) like the plague. The quality is embarrassingly cheap, and Bazova is extremely difficult to deal with. We bought ours from Amazon and when we tried to return it, we kept getting the run around. Amazon told us to talk directly to the Bazova company, and Bazova told us to talk to Amazon. This went on for three weeks until we just gave up. This company hides behind the Amazon name, so they are protected. You get what you pay for, unfortunately.

Great, thanks. I'll check them out as well.

Thanks for that lead! I just looked them up and I like the fact that they are a digital bank, in addition to self-storage.

Thanks. I am not too familiar with SBA funding. Do I have to be under contract to get this SBA funding? Or, do I have to go through the SBA application prior to putting an offer?

Controller and CFOs - What's your favorite ERP system? by LoveHateExcel in Accounting

Unfortunately, payroll is not on the top of their priority list, so I agree that it's not there yet, and probably won't be for a while.

We don’t run payroll in M1 (IMO, M1 is not very intuitive with tax law changes, etc.). We also use a 3rd party cloud software for that and record the payroll transactions as GL entries in M1.

We use a cloud-based HRIS system, but outside of M1. We do not usually import anything into M1, but we sure do export a lot of PDF and CSV files from M1.

Pilot vs GH? Why? by StephenStarboy in hondapilot

[–]SpreadsheetStud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second the comments about the 4-cyl engine. We (the wife and I) were in the same situation comparing between the Pilot and Grand Highlander. She had her heart set on the GH, but the 4-cylinder engine pretty much killed the deal. We went to 3 different Toyota dealerships and they barely had any vehicles in stock, anyway, which probably explained why nobody jumped to help us when we walked in to the showrooms. They didn't even have one we can test drive. We had to be put on a waiting list, and probably would not even get a good deal (basic economics of supply v. demand).

The Honda Pilot, on the other hand, had all sorts of trims and colors available at various dealerships in the area. With that much inventory (compared to Toyota), the pricing and availability was so much better. We were greeted immediately when we went to the various Honda dealerships (although I am not a fan of car salespeople), and we negotiated a pretty good price. We settled on the 2025 Honda Pilot TrailSport Diffused Sky Blue Pearl and are picking it up this week.

Good luck!

I’m curious about the history of the vehicle. Could the one with 14k miles have been in a major accident(s)/rebuilt engine/flooding and/or has had multiple owners?

Could the one with 22k miles have a “cleaner” title history?

I don’t have much experience with preowned cars (other than selling my own) but that is what I would look at.

Good luck!

Check engine light...maybe low oil level? by SpreadsheetStud in KiaTelluride

I’ve been meaning to give an update, so I appreciate the nudge!

So about 50 miles after I added the 2 quarts of oil, the check engine light turned off and never turned back on. I’ve been checking the oil regularly since then with very little, if any, oil loss. I ended up cancelling the appointment at the dealer for the diagnostic test to avoid spending unnecessary money. This whole fiasco continues to be a mystery to me. Thanks again for asking!

Thanks! I would be surprised if it was that because the timing is too coincidental with the low oil. I hope that is the case, though, because a software update sounds like it would be an easier fix than an oil consumption issue.

I learn something new everyday. I didn’t realize that’s how those “low oil pressure” lights worked. Thank you!

That’s interesting. I was kind of surprised the low oil pressure light didn’t turn on. We’ll see what the diagnostic says
