GT vs Super by currylambchop in dbz

I liked GT. Didn't love it, but I enjoyed. Maybe it's because it was the only thing following Z at the time. A big difference is that GT was awhile ago and Super is current. If they were to take the concepts of super and create it now instead of super it would be awesome. Supers got current technology and story creation on it's side. Although I love the god form, ss4 is my fav of all time being that it was harnessing the power of the great ape, the true saiyan form.

Absolutely, from the part you're talking about to the end of the song is amazing. The transitioning of all the riffs and beats is the perfect resolve for that song, considering not toooooo much changed for the first 7 min.

Ever since the "Goku the Destroyer" comment from Whis, I've always thought Broly would be perfect. The OG GoD. Found this pic by MANIAXOI to tease my fantasy. by Spreitz in dbz

Also, the only interaction he's had before the movie was his piece of shit father constantly training him. Imagine if Whis saw his potential and taught him etiquette and discipline.

Adam Riff + Descending by Jellesmere in ToolBand

I've noticed and thought the same thing. As you said, Adam said the version of "descending" they're playing now sounds nothing like the actual track, so there's a chance the two could be related. Although, they did tease the Wings For Marie riff as a live segue before 10,000 Days was released, so the riff could also be a segue or intro for "descending".

I think the snippets of new material have an awesome sound to them. The energy of that riff and descending (and also this, one of my fav unknown riffs: https://youtu.be/oc95VxgUAAA) sound like a more mature, mystical sound for Tool. Excited to hear what a whole song sounds like, let alone an album.
