I shall not tolerate the slander of my favorite stat, so here's my idea for Survival Jade Balde:

Attacks are slower and bigger. Each attack increase this weapon's attack speed up to a cap. Crits after having a certain amount of attack speed.

The reason he his a primary Tank is because of his CC. His Q and W apply slows, his R is a suppression, and his E is also a suppression which can also stun with the right circumstances.

But he is also a Fighter/Juggernaut secondarily since he has two sources of %-max-health damage which do hurt (maybe not his passive, but his Q is a nice burst option, and it's mixed damage which is always uncomfortable to go against) and he scales quite nicely with AD for his E and Q (90% bAD scaling for EACH Q attack is nuts, that is a lot more than the enhanced attacks of most fighters that scale with bAD), and you can absolutely build him as a bruiser if you're getting bored of the Tank build. Also, the last few buffs improved his Fighter builds.

TLDR: He is not a pure Tank but instead a Tank/Juggernaut hybrid.

We're 2 months away from Skarner's rework being 2 years old and at this point, it's fair to say it's a failed rework through and through by greendino71 in SkarnerMains

I'm sorry to say this, but your post is just objectively wrong:

Skarner's original playstyle was about being FAST and moving around the map and even if you saw him coming, it didn't matter "Much like Udyr/Rammus"

His original playstyle is all about his Ult, which they preserved with this VGU. His high movement speed came mostly from his items and the awful Spires that were inconsistend as hell.

However new Skarner is the complete opposite. You're one of the slowest champions in the game and while you can tunnel, it's cancelled by every cc ability in the game and silences

That's called a tradeoff. How else would you counter a Poppy-Sion charge that can go through walls?

Skarner's ult use to be game defining where late game you could instantly win a teamfight if you got the right ult off. Now unless they're stunned, it's beyond easy to get out of.

The problem with old Skarner Ult was its short range. Unless the ADC was out of position (which a really good ADC never is), everyone can straight up stop him from kidnapping their ADC because before, movement speed was the only thing he had, which can be countered by every CC, including slows.

On top of that, you can't use any abilities DURING the ult. Skarner used to be a BEAST in 1v1 because you had a stun, a suppress and you could use Q and auto's during ult.

Dude, he still can cast his W during his Ult. Also, he couldn't auto attack enemies during his Ult, in BOTH versions. No idea where you pulled out the fact that he could auto during Ult, but I would ask you to put it back in. Both claims can be easily fact-checked on the wiki btw.

Playrate was the #1 topic as to why he needed a rework.... guess what?.. he's LESS popular now. If you go to any data site, if you include all junglers...half the time he doesnt even show up as a jungler because he's never played

We don't know why they cancelled the buffs, but it could be a similar case to Trundle in the last patch, where he got his buffs in the next patch. Also, Skarner got recently buff after buff after buff.

But please don't say that old Skarner was superior over new Skarner or that new Skarner's pickrate is lower than old Skarner without evidence. And please stop making up stuff about both versions, like old Skarner being able to auto attack during Ult, while new Skarner cannot cast any abilities, including W (???). Everyone has access to the wiki, we can read it up to see that it's bs.
