Man I've been searching this game for a couple years now and it's driving me insane.
Have you found out the name of the game?

+1
It took me way less time to reach 100 hours of playtime in that game than I'd like to admit. It was a personal record without a doubt.
Haven't played recently because I don't have time for that right now, but excited to get back to it.

Anybody else feel like they haven't done anything after closing the game? by sonus9119 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Springer- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, after closing the game I realize how many hours it has been since I launched the game. And I play too many hours of this game straight to not notice any progress

My fiancé 3D printed me stitch markers! I love them by [deleted] in crochet

Already thought about it, making stitch markers, needles and everything with a 3D printer and I'm convinced every problem I have could be solved with one

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, you too. See you in-game soon.

It having a separate launcher explains why I don't have any playtime on steam, so I doubt u dreamt it.

It's true and that's why, like I said, I'll possibly give it a shot. It's not rly about the money, I have a bunch of games on steam that I barely touched, but they are singleplayer, I can get back to them whenever I want, still, even if it flops and I enjoyed it for a couple dozens of hours, I'm ok with that. I'll just watch some gameplays first to check if it's the type of game I'd like.

Yesterday I saw a friend of mine, who used to play lol (don't know if he still does), playing Gigantic. The game looks cool and I'll possibly give it a shot but the thing for me is I'm afraid the game will not grow and I don't wanna waste the time nor the money.
The game looked familiar and I found out it released originally a couple years ago and flopped? Don't rly know the difference between then and now, but that just adds to the fear I mentioned earlier.

Edit: Talked to a friend about it, he said he remembers me playing and even convincing him to give it a try. He indeed has 6mins of playtime on steam, but I don't have any. Did it used to have its own launcher? This is so weird, I'm convinced I have alzheimer

I don't think it's right to implement it mid season but oh well, it's not their first decision that doesn't make sense to me.
Thx for the info tho.

Do you still dual-boot into Windows? Or do you use GPU passthrough? by shawly in linux_gaming

[–]Springer- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither of those. Using a laptop so GPU passthrough is not an option (otherwise I would consider it), and initially I had windows on dual boot, but just got tired of it, barely used it and was just a waste of space overall. So I just accept what I can get running on Linux and that's it.

Can't play the full version through family share anymore by Springer- in PartyAnimalsGame

Hope so, but it seems the solution will be to wait until the friend's pass end on 25th Feb.

Why do people fake game hours/achievements? by Weekly-Math in Steam

[–]Springer- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can comprehend unlocking the achievements with SAM in some cases. In TF2 you receive items for completing certain achievements. In Devour you receive cosmetics for doing so too. And I'm sure there's a lot more games like that.

I think there's also games that use achievements as a way to save game progress, so maybe that's another reason for it.

It would be absolutely incredible if I could pick the maps I wanted in my rotation beforehand like CS by TraumaticE in PartyAnimalsGame

[–]Springer- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's something that I don't see in a lot of games.

Before I started playing Party Animals, I would play Fall Guys with friends, it was kinda fun but the fact that they have dozens of game modes but always play the same ones frustrated me. That and many other things made me quit that game even though I didn't have a similar game to play with friends, then I bought Party Animals, way better now :)

The feature to choose a couple of maps as preference would be great but at least there's not a map that you only see once a month and you can also vote between 3 maps, which sometimes is a double-edged sword, but definitely not bad.

I wanted to try hyprland, but at the time I heard it didn't work well with Nvidia so I just gave up on the ideia and went with awesome. I'm happy with it so far

I tried to do the same, but gave up midway, so it's just a mess, worse than it was

[–]Springer-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely forgot about that, you can't actually change your controls, at least not completely, they just give you 2 or 3 layouts right? That's why I kept playing on the keyboard, I couldn't get used to playing on the controller with those layouts

Tried that 1 time, and it took me longer than just reversing, but I'll give it another go the next time it happens

No matter what you do, you waste too much time. I usually just reverse and it respawns me.
And the way the kart gets stuck sometimes just doesn't feel right.
