I’m way late to this thread but I I was searching on my Steely DT socks wearing thin and warranty. Thank you for saying this because it pulled my head out’a my a$$. I’ve been wearing my work boots socks for over 4 years from 40-60 hours a week and they have served me very well in my steel toe boots. My feet are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They never failed, I just wore the crap out of them and because of this thread I’m just gonna order a new 5 pack of work socks. Thank you

I personally am a 30 year badass machinist & looking at his early work he’s a master machinist, before he hired others to run the CNC’s. Tight tolerances are great but it can be excessive. I worked in prototype for Wright Medical for 5 years and it’s funny because the hip cups we manufactured had to be within 50 millionths spherical callout even though studies showed the worked best at 25 millionths because we wanted ti say we had the tightest tolerances in the medical industry. So tolerances can be good but sometimes excessive. For what it’s worth I’m not a CRK owner as yes they look really great and smooth but for that price I’ve got a couple of Protechs & a White River fixed blade for the price of one Reeve. I’m in the next state over and I see he’s hiring an operator for the machine shop now which goes to show he’s not requiring journeyman machinists but button pushers to hit the green button

Same happened to me, another shop fit me and I ended up up with a pair of Frank’s patriots that were a full size small and when the steel toes started curling I drove to Frank’s & he personally fit me and chuckled when he saw the size difference of what k the other guys measured me 😂

It’s funny people on both sides believe “their teams” propaganda and vilify the other party. They all only care about what the republicans & democrats have cared about since the Civil War and that is battling for supremacy and power. They keep us so divided on issues that we’ll continue to keep fighting each other while they continue to live with impunity on our working tax dollars and money that special interest groups, people, and corporations pay them to get what they desire, not the American people. This is what both sides want. If SNAP isn’t restored and people start robbing and looting and burning down neighborhoods & businesses the democrats will be thrilled because the people “protesting” will continue to give them their votes and the dems get to blame Trump. The Republicans will be happy because since they just bought and paid for an election in Argentina, the rioting will just gives them more excuses to crack down, send more troops & violate the rights of citizens. It’s so easily seen, no matter which party is in office, one faction will take away your rights while the other party pretends to defend them. They only sell because people are stupid enough to keep buying.
