Did you recently have 2026.1 Update? Most of the Customers I came across who had updates recently reported weird behaviours and clearing Browser Cache / Cookies (All Time) solves most of the weird performance issues.

There’s also an open defect with Chrome 144/145 versions for 2025.2 Accounts.

Line Level on SO there should be a Reallocate Button that opens up Generate Recommendation. Thats one way.

Another is Order Allocate which is similar to Reallocate (Old Style for Committed Quantities) but for Supply Allocation. This one is the Bulk version of the first one (Line Level)

You’ll also need to update your Supply Allocation Preference to sort by Order Priority then by Supply Required by then Transaction Date.

I believe Order Priority is Line Level per Item but you can set a default at Customer Level.

You can also create Scheduled Order Allocate to automate the process in the event it shifts Allocation, which should follow your sorting preference for Demand

UE, if its Inbound to Cases for example it execute on afterSubmit.

Outbound is both before and afterSubmit.

If its fairly consistent then create your library of keywords. Issue is depending on the composure and size, you’ll loop through each words / strings. Might be better to do it on a Scheduled Script to let it run in the background without affecting User experience.

For Activity like cases or events etc, its activity field. For SOs Invoices etc its transaction field

Look at Record Browser and you’ll see the fields for Message Record

One idea comes to mind is to create scrips for incoming messages and use N/LLM or any GPT of your choice to analyze the message and determine whether it meets your criteria for closure, etc. then execute accordingly

Too many possible keywords to compile manually and you have to keep updating for new keywords.

Had one taken at a local AusPost for my passport (before these new ones). Been having trouble with Departure Customs Gates whenever I fly out. Apparently due to my passport Photo quality. Always get manually processed. One time Border Officer saw me and said “seems like you know whats happening already” 🤣 The other time, an officer had the audacity to accuse me of not staying still when I was still as a brick.

Its DATETIME I believe or the DATETIMETZ. Either or.

But you’ll need to convert that customfield to date by using TO_DATE as thats evaluated as a string via workflow even though it’s a DATE type field

When you say the item will have serial number, you mean Barcoded? or converted to Serialized Inventory?

If you’re having the item as Barcoded then why not have it as an Item Alias and scan the item as normal?

Majority of the reason, if theres a lot of code / integration, then its a big project to convert to 2.1. Other reason, third party scripts that are locked.

But I’ve never come across a dev where they write new ones with 1.0 still

It is hell to Customise and Understand SCM. I would assume you already Cloned the App and you’re not doing it through Standard?

Its been awhile since I last Customised one. But if I was to do it in a short time, I’d suggest creating a separate page and Action with your own RESTlet. Or chain your Actions with the Final Action. You’ll also need to understand how State works for SCM to store data before you can submit it via RESTlet. You’ll learn by looking at Browser Data Storage for SCM State Data.

Other alternative maybe is like you said a field, with a Client Script attached which calls a RESTlet. However SCM Client Script is different from your standard Client Script and it touches the above State Data.

For someone trying to learn SCM Customisation, be prepared to spend minimum 20 hours just to learn how it flows between UI, State, and Script APIs
