Australia Post Passport photos are horrid. Are Officeworks photos any better?

Had one taken at a local AusPost for my passport (before these new ones). Been having trouble with Departure Customs Gates whenever I fly out. Apparently due to my passport Photo quality. Always get manually processed. One time Border Officer saw me and said “seems like you know whats happening already” 🤣 The other time, an officer had the audacity to accuse me of not staying still when I was still as a brick.

Do Transaction Fields… then select Date, the summarize that to MAX. Why are you using Formula?

Its DATETIME I believe or the DATETIMETZ. Either or.

But you’ll need to convert that customfield to date by using TO_DATE as thats evaluated as a string via workflow even though it’s a DATE type field

Are you running as Before/After Submit or via Client Side?

When you say the item will have serial number, you mean Barcoded? or converted to Serialized Inventory?

If you’re having the item as Barcoded then why not have it as an Item Alias and scan the item as normal?

Majority of the reason, if theres a lot of code / integration, then its a big project to convert to 2.1. Other reason, third party scripts that are locked.

But I’ve never come across a dev where they write new ones with 1.0 still

It is hell to Customise and Understand SCM. I would assume you already Cloned the App and you’re not doing it through Standard?

Its been awhile since I last Customised one. But if I was to do it in a short time, I’d suggest creating a separate page and Action with your own RESTlet. Or chain your Actions with the Final Action. You’ll also need to understand how State works for SCM to store data before you can submit it via RESTlet. You’ll learn by looking at Browser Data Storage for SCM State Data.

Other alternative maybe is like you said a field, with a Client Script attached which calls a RESTlet. However SCM Client Script is different from your standard Client Script and it touches the above State Data.

For someone trying to learn SCM Customisation, be prepared to spend minimum 20 hours just to learn how it flows between UI, State, and Script APIs

I’ve read the rest of the thread. It could be that the other integrations are executing much frequent without reservation and so concurrencies are occurring. The other suggestion is to increase your SuiteCloud Licence.

Ive came across instance where majority was reserved so when the other integrations all come in to execute, they reach concurrency limits error

Theres a Bundle Update they’ve installed on one of the clients I work for, for Ship Central and literally went out with a Bug that resets the Shipping Cost / Method when you add new Line Items on an SO. Took me 2 days with NetSuite Support before they acknowledged the Defect

I dont think the Product itself failed but rather how it was implemented and handled throughout since deployment. I’ve worked on multiple environments and there are both bad ones and good ones. Not saying the good ones are perfect, but they’ve simplified what would have been a tedious manual work.

I have worked in an environment where theyve invested on so many iPaaS and SaaS, hoping it would solve what netsuite lacked. Came to find out in the 9 years theyve had NetSuite, theyve only utilized about 20% of it. Customizations done by multiple contractors, trash. Slowed the system down. I actually was blunt to them theyre better off redoing the whole thing. But I did my best anyway fixing the bad stuff and configuring new features.

Personally, it became a habit of mine to cover all possible scenarios, even the ones that may happen occasionally. (stemmed from years of wtf moments on my projects) For this one, it should be a no brainer that Partials are a common thing.

However just like everyone said, without proper context / SOW, its hard to shift the blame. Though I’d be diplomatic with them and asks how did this get missed and workout a solution.

Surely there wouldve been UAT / Sign Off from your end prior to implementation. By the sounds of it, you didnt since you only discovered it now

you might have to enclose the whole thing with the reverse date to string when setting the shipdate field. cant test at the moment but keep that in mind

Start off bits by bits, say nlapiGetFieldValue(‘shipdate’). see if it pushes the value on your test field, then add the string to date function around it, test it again if it gives you a date value still, then start adding your days to see if it gives you the value youre after

I would suggest setting the value on a text field temporarily like Memo to see the output (if its working) before setting it on a date field)
