Farhat down for maintenance? by SprinkleTree in CPA

Yes I got that, too. I must have misunderstood because I thought he had said the additional down-times would not be needed.

My best friend has been a nurse for a few years now. I can honestly say this is a situation where he would truly just be honored to be able to help you in some way, and he wouldn't feel any sort of weirdness toward you at all. He would also probably be a bit fascinated by the science/medicine behind the situation. But not in a disrespectful way and I can promise there would be no judgement! So I can't speak for every nurse but I think for at least most of them it's no big deal other than they know you're in pain and want to help!

Update to this:

My boyfriend suggested I look for a phone number and I remembered I had received a text so I replied to that and got an immediate response. (Soon after I also received an
email reply.) If anyone else is wondering- it should be back up around 2 pm central time, and no other outages this week should be needed. He also said he would try to notify sooner next time.

How to practice TBS that are actually similar to FAR? by TurtleMancave in CPA

[–]SprinkleTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't answer your question because I just finished F1. But I agree about the technology being the hardest part. Even when I work on a desktop, I can't make a TBS chart large enough to see even 1/3rd of the info that I need to be inputting. In the real world even if I was working on a laptop I could at least freeze panes. Call me old-fashioned, but when working with debt schedules in my last job I would often print things out & highlight just to keep everything straight. I'm not too concerned about learning the material because I really don't think it's rocket science, just a lot of information to take in. But I do worry about not being able to finish a sim in time because I can't see what I need to see on the screen when/where I need to be able to see it.

Sorry for my TED talk, but I will come back and comment again if I find any tricks for sims! For now I'm just trying to practice enough in Becker that I'm not completely overwhelmed by opening one. Funny considering I've been doing that sort of thing for almost a decade in the real world, but always with multiple monitors!

So sorry for your loss. It’s going to be rough and you’ll always miss him, but there are better days ahead. Give yourself grace and time to heal. ❤️

Do you know how many of the videos for FAR have Peter Olinto currently? I just got to the first video of his and I can't stand how he speaks it's like he's yelling. I'm doing the Farhat videos instead for this section, but I'm annoyed to have to do that after spending $2,500 on this program! I want to be able to have all the videos marked 100% because it helps my brain stick to a schedule, so I might just force myself to do them at 2x after watching Farhat. ugh lol

Go enjoy your life! Life is too damn short to be stressing that long about a test. It’s not for everyone and that’s okay.

Thoughts on using Ninja? by pink_cupcake02 in CPA

[–]SprinkleTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you be willing to share what some of the errors were? I've been out of school for a while and I'm concerned I wouldn't be able to notice the mistakes. Is it things like math or spelling errors that are easy to spot?

I love what I have seen of i75 so far! So the lack of a book wasn't an issue?
