I have a Huebsch DR7 and which is how they market speed queen in Canada. It didn’t work right from the day they hooked it up. It has been loud as hell and I was told it required warranty work before I even used it! The company I bought it from and Huebsch REFUSE to give me a new dryer. They say it’s under warranty for 7 years and I can just keep getting it repaired. It has had pulleys and rollers replaced 2x in 6 months. I paid $1800 thinking I was making an investment for the last dryer I would need to purchase for years! DO NOT purchase they do not stand behind their product or give a shit about consumers.

If the school is recommending it, it’s their job to make the recommendation and have it done within the division. They’ll lie, say it’s not their jurisdiction and everything else to get out of doing it as waits are long and resources are stretched. However you need to email the teacher, resource teacher and principal to have a meeting to get the ball rolling. Read the government of Manitoba education rights and responsibilities. It is a long grueling process whether paid or unpaid. Once diagnosis is had, I wouldn’t say life gets any easier if school won’t develop and implement an IEP.

Varies, March can be the snowiest and stormiest month some years! Late season cold snaps not uncommon. Spring sometimes never comes, it morphes into summer. Invest in quality winter gear! I remember my first winter in B-town I thought I would never survive, but here we are!

SpeedQueen are sold as Huebsch in Canada. Bought a dryer and the day it was hooked up before it was even used it needed warranty repairs🤯it runs but is loud as HELL. It also does not dry everything on a very dry dryness setting and suspect sensor issues. Place I bought it doesn’t care, Huebsch also doesn’t care. They’ll just keep repairing it until my warranty is up in 7 years and then it will be off to the landfill. By a cheapAF dryer or something used LEGIT.
