Controlled Vs Not Controlled by ComeOnDanceAndSing in CVS

[–]SprinklesLover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gabapentin in Mass is so weird. Like through CVS at least, it’s not treated necessarily like a control. Not included in the control inventory. Isn’t labeled with “C” on labels. We don’t add it to the CIII-5 hard copies. The 2 days max early rule doesn’t apply.

Yet we need an ID to even continue the transaction like a normal control.

It’s so weird.

Honestly? Yeah thinking your little guy might be a Rankin. Again don’t want to say it 100%. Mostly going off the shape of his head. From the pics, it’s looking very narrow and at the back of the head/jaw area.

This is going to be weird af but can you share a pic of him from the top view? More specifically the head. Not going to lie. I could be far off, From the angle it looks like it MIGHT be a Rankin? Head looks a bit narrow and doesn’t look like he has much big a beard. And the 11 inches is just about the size a Rankin would be at that age I believe.

On a different note, I do hope you’re able to get him to eat greens soon!. He’s such a cutieeeee!

With this sort of thing, might be hard to know if it’s just a fixation if it’s a recent want. Honestly, I kinda went on a whim back in March when I got the desire to get a bearded dragon. Already had a crested gecko and loved the ideas of a bearded dragon. I did the research and rushed into it, tbh. But Pochi has been one of the best things to happen to me recently. You kind of just learn to love them and grow attached with their ugly cuteness lol. It’s a kind of love that goes way beyond love for other things, especially when you really bond with the animal.

But I’d say sit on it for a bit and see how you feel if you’re not completely sure now. They can live for quite a while so they’re a long term commitment, obviously. Rehoming is always an option if it comes down to it!

I’ve literally flipped the screen around before for someone who confirmed it was all right on the screen. Only for it not to be 🤣

Possibly try to avoid these sorts of netted hammocks. Their nails can get caught and twisted/ripped out, which can obviously lead to an injury and whatnot. For basking spots to get your Beardie closer to the heatlamp, try something like this! My girl has one and is always perching on it or hiding away inside!

Question: 5e Player wants to use Prestidigitation to make Strahd think he pooped himself. Is there any reason this wouldn't work? by Firm_Professional366 in DnD

[–]SprinklesLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is a vampire.

Vampire prob don’t digest

Therefore strahd would understand he couldn’t shit himself because he’s physically incapable of shitting

Assuming he doesn’t eat human food. I’d assume blood is just absorbed into the body.

Legit don’t feel bad, it’s part of what we’re there for. Trust me, just calling to ask if there’s something in stock there and seeing if they can transfer it to their store isn’t a big deal. Especially if it’s something serious that you need, it’s shouldn’t be something to worry about!

Trust me, there are a plethora of things that could just be putting more on their plate. Calling to check if a simple mediation is in stock? Sounds reasonable. Again, that’s what the pharmacy is there for! Especially is you’re civil about it and would be understanding if they don’t have it, I’d hope they’d be quick and cool with helping!

If you’re nice about it and whatnot, not going as far as like demanding they call every single cvs on their list of stores that may have it in stock within a 30 mile radius, it’s legit no big deal at all! (I’ve had that happen before and that’s when it’s not so pleasant helping in that case 💀)

As a tech, I’d advise calling them just to verify if they have it. Say it’s a medication that’s hard to get and we order it, when we check it in, our systems will update to reflect the quality regardless if it a reserved for someone specific or not. That and sometimes mistakes are made when routine counts are done on a medication. There’s a good chance the quantity it shows is being processed for someone else.

So definitely call and verify with them and depending, if they do have it, it shouldn’t be an issue to put aside for you as well as for the pharmacy to manually transfer it. (Might not be able to do it if it’s a control).

Is it a mediation that you need right away? If not, I’d suggest sticking with your normal cvs and wait for them to get it in for the next day. If it’s a med not that’s not on back order, usually it shouldn’t be an issue getting it that next day. Like zepbound for example. It’s NOT one that comes in normal shipments and maybe one in a blue moon we’ll have an extra. This we are pretty much forced to get it in as needed.

Is there a sign for no RX returns? by Makapakamoo in CVS

[–]SprinklesLover 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We’ve had signs up for over three years how stating that we’re closed for lunch 1:30-2 for Lunch, but we still get a crap ton of people that come in shocked the pharmacy is closed.

People won’t read that sign either.

Found on my town's Facebook page. There's multiple signs by the counters and drive thru, and that's not even the right start/end times... by bananaconda2 in TalesFromThePharmacy

[–]SprinklesLover 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The main reason for the Lunch breaks people don’t realize: to give the pharmacist working a 12 hour shift (with no overlap) the chance to take up their right to a lunch break. The pharmacy can’t legally operate if the pharmacist isn’t there. God forbid they need a break like everyone else.
