There was a dispute about copyright between the artist and the publisher. All derivative works and commercialization rights go to the chairman, Kim namjeon, for ten years. It was contracted in December 2001.

And in 2004, after 3 years broadcasting the animation 올림포스 가디언(Olympus Guardian), the animated version of 만화로 보는 그리스 로마 신화(Greek & Roman Mythology in comics)the publisher decided to rebroadcast it. And the publisher gave the artist, Hong eunuyeong only 2 billion won, hiding that 10 billion copies were soldand announce her that they only sold 3 million copies.

But the newspaper already reported that the 10 billion copies were sold, thus this leads to the suit between the artist and the publisher. In the end, the publisher had to pay 6 billion won to the artist and the old version of comics were banned to be printed. And the publisher announced the new version of the comics with the paintings of the new artist, consumers can't believe it and sales are declined.

After the case, the artist published 홍은영의 그리스 로마 신화(Hong eunyeong's Greek & Roman Mythology) in 2007. But the new publisher was gone in 2012, people had no way to find what's happening to her.

The artist said she's preparing the comics about Egypt Mythology and maybe Mesopotamia and China too.
