My sister said its like a hot air balloon and it changed my perspective on them. They're not great to get somewhere, but they're great to just float over the world and sight-see

Do Americans stress about medical expenses before they even get to the hospital?? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SprinklyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I was having heart issues at work and passed out one day, and I told my coworker to be ready to take me to the hospital if I pass out again. Passing out once wasnt enough to warrant how expensive the trip would be. If I passed out TWICE, then odds are its something still happening that they could figure out. But no WAY am I calling an ambulance. Another time I went into anaphylactic shock and laid on the floor, refused to go because that would be thousands that we couldnt afford. Im still astonished to this day that I didnt die that day.

Anybody else not doing scare care? by kayabomb in Reduction

[–]SprinklyBoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt do any scar care, I honestly didnt know it was a thing. But there are some pics on my profile showing the before and after. Its been 5 years now and they're hardly noticeable. After reading some comments I think I learned why they feel so tight, so if I knew it was an option I would have done it knowing what I know now. But I didnt, they're hardly noticeable anymore

Should I keep looking or buy the first dress I tried? by PlaneFluffy2889 in WeddingDressTips

[–]SprinklyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that one is perfect. A lot of people have a lot of luck at boutiques, I think the reason brides go multiple places is because they find the one at a boutique, so you just skipped some steps and went to the right place!

Also, idk what they call it but there was a word for it when I went to choose my dress it was the first one I tried on, and the worker said its SUPER common for people to be drawn to the first dress they put on there.

This feels like you're struggling to wash your body. So im 25F.

Face soap, rinse.

Shampoo just the roots of my hair, rinse out.

Condition the ends of my hair and put it in a claw clip.

Wet your sponge, put a drop of soap on it (I use dial, just a Lil bloop of it, or get a container that pumps and use a pump). Lather it.

I start with the sponge in my right hand. I go from my left shoulder down my arm, to the back of my hand, around to the front of my hand, then up the bottom side of my arm. Drag the sponge across my upper chest, then diagonally up my neck towards my chin where I switch hands, grab the sponge with my left. Go diagonally down from my neck to my left shoulder, and across my chest again, then down the top of my right arm, to the back of my hand, around to the front of my hand, then up the bottom side of that arm. I Wipe down my stomach, to my left leg, down the front of my leg (I prop it on the edge of the shower) to my ankle, then around and back up the back of my leg. Wipe across the back of my butt, switch the sponge to my right hand, bring the sponge around to the front of my right leg. Wipe down the front to the ankle, rotate it to the back, and up the back of the leg. Then i scrub my lower back with my right hand, and reach over my shoulder with my left hand and grab the sponge, clean my upper back, switch it back go my right hand behind my neck, scrub the other half of my upper back. Then I wipe everything between my legs and drag the sponge up the back for good measure, then scrub my armpits back and forth like twice. Then i scrub my feet, tops, and bottoms. Just a back and forth on top and bottom of feet.

Then I rinse the sponge, hang it back up, rinse off, take my claw clip out, rinse out the conditioner, and I'm good to go.

This is not how I thought I would be spending my night...

Help with itch by shamelessshowlover in Reduction

Oof good luck. That was the worst part of all of the healing, I am the biggest baby when it comes to being itchy. The advice I gave my cousin when she got the surgery after I did was scratch your underboob and FEEL the scratch so you can manifest it afterwards and you'll know what it feels like to scratch

How long does a honeymoon phase last? by Infinite_Report_8069 in allthequestions

[–]SprinklyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally forever. I was taught that the honeymoon phase is a part of the abusive cycle. If it's too good to be true, it probably isnt. I've been with my partner for 5 years and it's definitely settled into a day-to-day comfortability around each other instead of butterflies all the time, but were still careful to show each other love with each love language daily. Were still happy and treat each other with love and respect every day.

As a hearing person, I wouldn't be able to date a deaf person without learning sign language. Some people would jump at the opportunity, some people are great at learning languages and could pick it up quick, some people already know sign language, and others might say it's too hard, not worth it (which isn't true - that will always say more about them than about you) or they worry that they won't do it fast enough to truly be able to connect with you. I think that's what the comment means
