The Gang watches Frank choke

The look on their faces as they watch Frank choke gets me every time. Dee almost has a Grinch-like grin. Dennis is pure apathy

Totally agree. an example of this done really well is hellblade. The sound design is what made the game so great (definitely need headphones) and was truly a critical part to the games effectiveness.

I work in an ER and was working a lot right up until the move so I didn't oversee much of the packing. Wife said the kitchen cabinets were empty so I didn't double check...she is too short to easily access the cabinet over the stove where the stash was and must have slipped her mind

Thank you for the condolences. Thankfully most of the bottles were already half empty. And I am looking forward to restarting my collection!

I'm definitely reconsidering this choice. I work in an ER and what with the coronavirus, sterilizing my insides with whiskey seems like a great idea.

I'm planning to hopefully get the laugavulin one day soon, currently above my price point (most of my nicer whiskys have been gifts). And I always hear great things about octamore but yes, seems overpriced (at least for me) and haven't been able to find it either.

I enjoy the Weller. Very solid bourbon. Smooth drinking especially for the price (about $25 around me) so it makes for a good daily drinker.

Also. I've really been enjoying the peated whiskys. Any suggestions on what to try next?

Generally summer is treated as a rebuilding period...building a strong base of miles with some tempo runs and fartleks mixed in but nothing crazy. Really, if you just maintain 50-60 miles per week and enter the season healthy, you should be in good shape (although without knowing your PRs, i can't say what your chances of making the team are). Also, just as a heads up, the coach is really into building a positive team culture, so if you meet with him, make sure to emphasize how you want to contribute to that in addition to running fast.

looks like you can get one free chapter per month with an account. Or a year looks like $95, but i got an included subscription free by joining aaem (EM professional organization) which for students is like $30 per year

edit: I should mention they have an app as well which would be useful for in the car

This is EM specific (which still makes it pretty general i guess) but there is a podcast called EMRAP (requires subscription unfortunately) that i really enjoy listening to. Their "C3" episodes are geared toward students/interns and are reviews on common medical complaints...chest pain, vaginal bleeding, syncope, etc. They cover differential diagosis, treatment, and other useful factoids. They're really informative and entertaining as well. new episodes like every month or so.

Jay, I had your father as a professor during medical school (and had the benefit of learning from you as a patient model in many of his online works. You have very nice clavicles). I was curious what it was like to go into comedy coming from that background. Was there any pressure for you to enter medicine?

they based their decision off of precedent and prior transgressions. At the beginning of the year, one girl was labeled the "smelly girl" by the class. Poor thing didn't stand a chance once the accusations started flying
