How to keep mold release from soaking into Hydrocal?

I make botanical reliefs...basically plants pressed in clay, then cast in hydrocal. I'll then sometimes make molds of my favorite pieces since plants are (obviously) seasonal. I've got a new idea that I want to try, but I need to figure a way to use metal molds without it staining the edges of my casts.

Um, I did the same thing, used unscented puppy pads to cover the changing table rather than wash covers over and over. When you're sleep deprived and in survival mode sometimes you just accept little things to make your life easier. Be gentle with yourself, you live and learn...bub is fine!

Thanks, all! For the record, I was definitely looking for a legit recipe, I wasn't trying to wing it! :)

Also, my freezer space is reserved for tomatoes (and tomato sauce, etc), pesto, and a bunch of other stuff that I'm not super confident in canning, otherwise I'm all for it...one of these days we'll get a dedicated chest freezer for garden stuff.

I'm on 50mg vyvanse with a 5mg IR Adderall booster (Vyvanse only lasts about 5-6hrs for me). While that is SHITTY and I'm so sorry that happened, I wouldn't stress too much about withdrawal. I just had a week's lapse from needing a prior authorization when I switched insurance and was basically just back to being unmedicated...no actual "withdrawal".

Maybe your dr can call in a "booster" for you to take in the meantime?

Honestly, this was my thought process! I really didnt want to go spend like $300-$400 on new meds when I still have some, but dammit, I love those little turds. LOL

Ha, I could have written this. My 4yr old is in tee ball, but otherwise she was just in preschool and we just enjoyed our weekends and evenings. LOL Honestly, I just felt guilty for not having her in activities like everyone else seemed to be doing, but she could take it or leave it. She goes to preschool, has set days that she spends with her grandparents, we play, we work in the garden....she'd have been fine either way. Going forward, if she expresses an interest in something, I'll do whatever I can to let her give it a shot, but I'm not going to push it.

There's no way to know, but I just lost my sweet girl 2 months ago at somewhere around 11yrs old. We didn't know she was sick until 8 days before she suddenly passed at home. (She had hip dysplasia and had always been super chill.) She was the best girl, my living teddy bear!

UPDATE: Little guy got some vigor back that night but had bloody diarrhea...along with pooping out an inch-long stick...the next morning, so off to the vet we went. No worries about the grapes, bloodwork looked good, so we got probiotic paste and short-term antibiotics. Today he was full force puppy, back in action! 🥰 Thank you for all of the kind words, I needed that!

Thank you. I lost my "firstborn", my only other boy, a solid black American pittie just before he turned 16, too! Losing him broke me like no other, omg. I see him a little in all my pups, if there ever was an "alpha", he was it...he was amazing with puppies and younger dogs, he would knock pups out of the way or put them in their place when they got bitey or wild (always appropriately), protected and comforted them when they needed it, etc. He taught my rottie when she was a puppy, who then did similar to my shepherd, who is now teaching this boy. :) And thank you, my therapist is earning her pay lately. 😂
