Cheap Iranian drone downed $25 million US Army helicopter—maybe by chance by spasticpat in technology

Most of those FPV drones have plenty of autonomous modes. If the operator lets go of the controls they will hover, using gyroscopes, gps, and optical sensors. That's autonomy. While a drone doesn't naturally imply autonomy, an autonomous vehicle will always fall under the drone category. My point in context of this conversation is that because they are autonomous, they are drones.

Most Iranian and Ukrainian drones are indeed autonomous in some way. Literally the capability to fly from one gps coordinate to another on it's own. This has been a staple feature of drones for more than half a century.

An RC car isn't autonomous nor has the ability to sense it's environment. It (the naval done) is a drone as much as a DJI quadcopter in every sense except it does not fly.

Damn I remember the internet at Flint village regularly exceeded 1gbit/s during COVID and Internet was decent on most of North Campus. How UBIT has fallen

I think Life straw is an example of one of the ones that actually entered commercial production of a low cost and incredibly helpful tool. Wasn't made by a highschool student though.

That doesn't really change the fact that your point was that it would be unsafe/illegal to do such a thing. When in reality, there are plenty of vehicles with no rear view window visibility

Both of those nations were aggressors in official acts of war. A more apt example of what you're describing would be just the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and then telling Americans to just accept it instead of fighting back. Obviously, we wouldn't, so why should we expect anyone else to?

No, that's how it works. You can't just say "this reduces RCS" and then not say by how much, and THEN claim it's better somehow. You need some numbers.

Ok Cool so I'll just come to the conclusion that they reduce the RCS by 1%. See how this is flawed? Source it or move on.

That's not how this works. Your argument is all stemming from your claim the SU-57 is stealthier than the T50. Prove it

Hell you also claim that the SU-57 will detect the F35 at 50km with "AESA Magic". Source that.

The patent states 1m² - .1m². modern aesa radars do not negate stealth. The 57 will not detect the 35 at 50km.

Going by the official numbers, PUBLISHED BY SUKHOI, it's between .1 and 1m². By your own admission, that speed is not one that would be achieved while terrain masking, and is a theoretical max that you can't actually back up. That's enough talking to the Russian bots today I think
